    Mortgage-free Glee!
I am so pipped off with G.., no not Gyp the other one! Never had a problem with them before. But if they ring me once more asking me to do a 'bank assignment' that is a 40 odd mile trip for peanuts I will scream!! Do the staff not put notes on our accounts? I have said I will do the jobs but would need x amount to cover time and petrol but they are still ringing me asking me to do it for 'nuts' ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    And breathe.............................................................................

Hope the rest of you are having a more productive time

    TPAx

Whats wrong with these people lol!
I have just done a 20 mile trip and 2 jobs. I am new to this and have learnt many lessons in a short space of time. 1 lesson is not to do this again as I am sure that my costs are more than I was paid :(
I aspire to be mortgage free by July 2014 :staradmin

Shock horror, I got a reply from re. the chicken jobs. It seems I've been sacked from them without ever having completed the training, never mind a job. Now that's some achievement, no? :D

Seriously, they said they run regular analysis on " various data, such as scoring, demographics, shopper details, etc." and this has affected my shopper status, meaning I will never be able to do a chicken job. I'm perplexed, but hey, at least I know now.

(They did reassure me that it was "no reflection on my integrity or person" though. Just in case I was worried about that :rotfl:)

I wonder if it has something to do with rescheduling / cancelling jobs or something like that...

I'm fairly certain that, in my case, it has nothing to do with rescheduling or cancelling jobs. I think it is more likely to be "demographics" - maybe my age!!

When a job say Visit 1: (then a date)
    Visit 2: (then a date)

Does that mean there are 2 visits avaliable or YOU have to do 2 visits. Sorry if it's a silly question but not had work with them before.

Also, why do they say can be done this date - that date but then go on to specify it must be a date they name, you can pick a day but it will only confim if you pick the day they say.

Sorry for the rambling, just a little confused
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

The timeframe may be say 1st-10th, but they want that specific shop done at a particular time on the 3rd or 6th......IFYSWIM

lessons learnt today - don't accept jobs from a certain company! Had a job cancelled so ended up doing 1 job 15 mile round trip for peanuts
read through questionnaire again when I get in the car to check I asked everything (just had to phone to confirm something I forgot!)
make sure I have loadsa phone battery!

3 reports to complete now then prepare for tomorrow!

Regarding mileage, I'm assuming for most companies its in the fee unless otherwise stated?

Where does the time go?

I've learned today, not to accept jobs at short notice when you have no access to a printer! Two libraries later I had to give up! Total waste of time and a bad rep with the company. :(

I've also learned today not to pay £3000 to a plumber for a brand new central heating system, only to find I've had to put my jacket on to sit in the living room! And I should have checked outside.....they didn't take away any of the rubbish.:(:(

I am new to React and earlier today applied for my first job with them - it still says pending.
How soon will I know if I have the job? Or is it how long is a piece of string scenario.
    thanks for any advice.

Wait at counter while staff faff about not serving anyone, then when eventually served, "do I want a receipt?"

Three letter word shouted out .... ACTION STATIONS!!!

Four check backs on food, plus all the usual. Oh, and I've never seen them clean the seats before! :rotfl:

as if tns are not offering any payment for the coffee jobs! i live a 10 min walk away so the mileage is no good either even if i was in the area! i would rather pay for my own coffee than fill in a report! shame as i like that branch! :( think of the same kind of visit with react with really good pay!

I'm guilty. I have one of these jobs, In my defence i'm new, never done one before (coffe visit or for the company) and want the experience. when it says i can claim £** for the drink, do they refund the flat max fee or simply what the drink cost (and if this is the case can i then order £** worth of stuff)
