With the old RE system where you attached the scanned receipt copy to an email I never had any problems. This newer system where you upload the receipt (like GYP) gives me trouble every single time!
RE were sympathetic and the answer seems to be to try uploading it and, when you inevitably get the proofreading email, just reply directly to the email and attach a receipt copy to that. It was RE's suggestion and it works - but I know its all a pain in the b.u.m for a pittance of a fee.ELITE 5:2

It does make me wonder how courier companies and the suchlike cope.
That annoys me too. The worst one was a job listed as something like 42 The Shopping Centre. I walked round and round the shopping centre and couldn't see the branch, so I had to ask at the information desk. The shop was actually out of a set of main doors and in a street around the corner! The lady did say the addresses are misleading and she gets loads of queries for shops in that street as people assume the shops are in the shopping centre.0 -

There's a few like that that I visit! Experience does help there.
Any of the big shopping centres that give out floor plans - I now pick up a couple when I visit (and keep one at home and the other in the car). Some of the floor plans from the internet are as bad as useless because they are so out of date.0 -

My Dad told me years ago, and I've found it to nearly always to be true, that the numbers count out from the town centre. Newer streets and shopping centres dont always follow this nice sensible rule. Worked against me yesterday as I thought the town centre was at the town hall, which is why I went to the wrong end. The centre is actually at the road junction at the other end. Sods law.
On a brighter note, though I went to the wrong bookies, the bet I put on was a winner!! :T:T0 -
I ticked the N/A there were no queues. Up came a comment box...so I got mad and typed What part of No queues don't you understand. Never heard anything more. And got paid.
hahaha i have felt like that so often with them but not been brave enough to write that! :rotfl::rotfl::j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

In pure frustration, I recently filled every comment box to bursting (e.g. for no queues, I gave an account of numbers of customers in store and where they were, numbers of checkouts open/closed, number of staff visible and what they were doing, time I approached checkout, what I saw when I got there, etc.). I attempted to put a minimum of five sentences in each comment box, then put the whole lot together as the summary (!) of visit.
[poke in the eye] @ proofreader!! I didn't get any queries :mad:0 -
I did a posh supermarket today too, but only 7 mile round trip for me. I was very surprised to see 15 (yes, I counted!) staff members all in one aisle tidying and straightening up the shelves. This made it hard for me to find staff members in the departments I was suppose to ask queries in so unfortunately not a good report.0
