Go try 10 minutes on that treadmill. You will get reported as a missing person.

    :rotfl:

I'm sitting here looking at a wonderful product - a whole month's supply of something to help me "lose weight naturally" - it says I have to use it with an exercise plan, so maybe I'd better say goodbye now!:rotfl:

Those sports shops have never turned the treadmill up fast for me - thank goodness!

In the old days you had to run over a special mat thing that measured your weight distribution on your feet and then had to do the treadmill if it was offered. I hated that!

I have these sussed now that the running isn't compulsory: I just do a gentle jog around the store. Even that is difficult for me because the shoes are always too big for me! I have to lie about my shoe size otherwise they don't have anything for me to try on and buy. Even in the height of summer, I have to wear my extra thick socks for these jobs.;)

    Mortgage-free Glee!
It's all gone quiet on the job front. Got some small one's but my fave ESA has not given me a thing. I wonder if I upset them by being politely assertive :(

Question (answered) on questionnaire: "Please detail what you had to eat during your visit".

Receipt provided detailing everything we ordered...

Proofreading query: "Please state what you ordered"... um I thought I already had. Twice ;-) :wall:

I had a similar: "where would you have gone if you hadn't gone to that restaurant?" I responded that I did not know the area and had never eaten anywhere else locally, so I would have just stopped at the first place with a car park. This wasn't good enough for RE. They wanted to know which place. As a token of defiance, I named a restaurant in village 120 miles away, gave the address, and justified it saying that I know it has a car park and the food is good! Report went through with no proofing error points deduction.:wall:

Sf123 - yes there is a salad option. The reimbursement will just about cover a cheap starter, two mains, cheap side salad and 2 refillable drinks.

Thanks for that - that'll do nicely :D

It's not sad, it's a real buzz. I once had a free bet given to me. I backed Man City to beat Man U at Old Trafford...it'd never happened in years but I though "well, it's a free bet, if it loses, it aint my money!". Man City won, I got over £200! Then again, I've played the lottoery with the same numbers for over ten years and I've probably won less than £150 so I'm not advocating gambling.

Remember our convo the other day...you'll never see a poor bookie.

Bookie ones are good if i can get my wife to do one - or more - on her account. gambling on all outcomes with someone else's money does make it a foregone conclusion!

  • Morning All, I have rightly or wrongly decided to dip my toe back into the gyp arena and have booked a chicken visit  I stopped doing these when I was on a diet and also when I had a couple of horrible experiences in such places, I had to argue with them to get paid as I left an establishment when a fight broke out, these days I'm not hanging around when that happens not a lone female anyway.

2 jobs today but otherwise quiet, I missed the job on the treadmill, I applied and someone else got it!

Re alerts does anyone else use jobslinger.com? Its free to join and it shows most sassie jobs, it might prove useful and save people a bit of time.

    Have a good day all
