Not the usual thing I'd aww about but that is sweetI'm ashamed to say I once drank a little more wine than I should have done- felt fine one second, horrible the next. I could vaguely remember my OH holding me in position when I was being sick, and woke up the next morning feeling fine to find he had dressed me in my pyjamas and tucked me into bed.
Went to the bathroom to find all of it sparkly clean and OH's trousers screwed up in a corner... apparently he had moved me, thinking it was over, and I had threw up in his crotch. I was mortified. He didn't mind, just pointed out it wasn't like I meant to do it!
I think that had to be the moment I realised all mystery was gone and our relationship had gone up one level. But I'm still just as mortified. Especially as we're not even until he does the same to me.0 -
My hubby is fantastic. I hate being on my own when I'm throwing up, so he is happy for me to wake him if I need him. He rubs my back, gets me water etc. Thamkfully it doesn't happen often, or he might not be quite so nice about it.
He is also great when the kids are sick. It's handy when one of us can clean the child and the other can clean the mess lol.

Mine is very bad if I have an infectious illness, he gets hysterical about catching it and goes around with antibac spray cleaning doorknobs behind me
He also somehow always feels it's my fault I caught something even if I caught it off him...
But on the other side if I'm just feeling rough, headache or whatever, he's quite kind and brings me cuppas etc.
And he refuses to be looked after unless he's at death's door which I suppose evens it up a bit0 -

I was sick on our first date, as the food he had bought for us to share contained cheese and he didn't know I was allergic at that point.
He looked after me so well and saw me at my worst on our first date, and still wanted to see me again! lol. I knew he was a keeper then.
But it's a two way street. I look after him when he's ill and vice versa.

My husband is my full time carer and has been since I become seriously ill 4-5 years ago. We have been together since we were 13/14 and now 35. He helps me with everything and I would be in a nursing home if I was by myself.
The only rest he gets really is when a carer comes in each morning to help me wash and get dressed for 45 minutes.
He is a gem and I love him sooooooooooooo much!
OH had to quit his job to look after me which he had worked very hard at. He is selfless!
He never moans either!

My ex was no use whatsoever. Three times I was hospitalised and not even a bottle of lucozade!! On two of those occasions he didnt even bother to visit and I had to get a taxi home.

I've got M.S & my hubby is great, but he finds it hard to deal with as he knows he can't 'fix me' so to speak.
Hubby knows when I'm really ill as I'm in bed
If I'm up then I just get on with it, he doesn't fuss over me, I couldn't bare it

I had a hellish cold at Christmas and was also about 30 weeks pregnant and my OH was useless, he then caught the cold for New Year and expected me to run around after him like a fool
