You could always use UK-INFO, which is basically 192.com on a disk. You can do house, neighbour, street searches etc. It's quite expensive, but if you look hard enough you can find it on the net for free

If you do find it you'll need a software tool called Daemon Tools to run it as a virtual disk.

    If you're stuck PM me.

    Good Luck

I had a look online but I daren't download it for fear of viruses =/

    I'm really losing hope, I don't think I'll ever find them :(

I found my half sister, whom I met when I was 15 and she was 2, (im now 38!) and turns out I have 2 half sisters! I found them via a cousin whom I remembered vaguely meeting when I was 2! I was lucky I know, one of those random memories! Took me about 2 years of searching, found them 3 years ago, have texted a few times and emailed too, and still have yet to meet them. Finding is the first step, meeting them... hmm :) thats the scary bit!
I have my mum as my only living relative, and we dont get on, which prompted my initial search, as I knew there were people out there that I am related to!
Im not on facebook, just like I havent seen harry potter or lord of the rings trilogy :D I am net savvy, but dont follow things that everyone else does, specially if I think they are iffy, therefore, dont just use social network sites, go down other routes if you truly want to find them. I would never have found them without genes reunited, which I joined some years back when it was just old school mates to see what became of them all!.
    Best of luck

I think that's true to prevent companies from getting hold of names and addresses without paying. Most individuals would want to check if their relatives are still at the same address and if they are there's no need to write it down.

Really? I was in my library yesterday writing plenty down from the voters roll. In fact I often photograph whole pages of it without being challenged. If you view it at a council office they may be a bit more anal about it *if* there is any such legislation to stop people viewing it.

in any case: writing down != photographing :D

I started the sign up process on 192.com. I didn't complete it then 5 days later they sent me a mail saying I would get 6 free 192 credits if I signed up to a trial of various websites. So I signed up to a trial of lovefilm, got my 6 192.com credits then cancelled the lovefilm trial.

  • anyone know any free sites to search people/address

hi, i registered and paid to use onlinesearches.info site but it brought back no results, all the info is based whats on electoral roll. But when i search the person with partial postcode on 192.com, it returns results but obviously need to pay for full postal address.

  • I should be opt out as well but I appear on the free link, the funny thing is because the Post code is not full it gives the all those registered on the Electrol list should appear but only males are listed with the same surname and I don't know them hence they don't live with me. Are they listing the male only...
