Sneaky 'forward rolls' - Asda prices

I'm posting this on here as I know quite a few OSers keep info on various prices (I think I should start too) and hopefully someone will know for sure.
Over the past couple of weeks on a few occasions I've thought that the odd price in Asda has suddenly shot up - or is it just my bad memory?
The most noticeable was lean minced beef (was under £2 for 500g, now over £3 for same) and today the bacon pieces (sure they were about 75p last time, today were 98p) The milk was £1 per 4pints (I'm sure it was marked as a 'rollback') and now is about £1.20 per 4pints. I thought 'rollback' meant 'permanently low prices' not temporary price cuts???

Is it me getting confused or has anyone else spotted the same?

Personally I wish that there was some sort of ruling that would make supermarkets HIGHLIGHT any price increases - perhaps they'd be a bit slower to increase their prices....

Blimey twink! that was one big price jump! In my pre kefir days that would've really hit my shopping bill as we used loads. Luckily now I have kefir taking over my fridge!

I noticed Tesco's bargain bacon has gone from 70 odd p to 98p a packet. Maybe its the time of year for them all to put prices up?

This is really interesting. I usually have my shopping delivered from Tescos and have noticed that their prices have been creeping up. I'd had enough the last time they delivered, so I thought I'd try going to Asda - and I managed to blow the budget!
