Hi 40sm :hello:
Sounds like you've had a rough week, so hugs to you. Don't be disheartened about OH - IMD had a mountain to climb with her DH, but the penny has dropped for him and it will for yours I'm sure
I was late to motherhood too - 33 and 35. I was 13 when my Mum was 33 :rotfl: but it doesn't matter, I think there are pluses and minuses to both.
Hope you are having a nice weekend x0 -

I get screened out after 10 - 15 minutes, really annoying, just cos I don't buy pro-bio yoghurt drinks or something that I've never heard of. Recently I've had a lot reaching target numbers too. Oh well shouldn't complain.DC.

He does know that we are on a tight budget. He is just so used to me always dealing with the finances and sorting it all out. In the past if we have been a bit short we have just chucked it on the cc. I won't do that anymore .... thats how we got in this mess in the first place.
How are you hun ?

You sound exactly like the position I was in. All I know is that by sitting down, with all the figures on a spreadsheet, tears of desperation, credit card bills, bank statements and figures in red - that was the only way I could make him see how bad it was. We also agreed to deal in cash only. We withdraw a specific figure every week, all cards bar the petrol one is in the pot so we can't use them and that is that. He does seem to have got it but it has taken a long long time and I feel your pain. The times I have found that he has withdrawn cash from a 0% credit card has made me want to cry
On the positive we have changed our ways together. Our shopping is easily about £70 a week and we could do it for less if we had to.
You will get there, it is just perseverance.
