  • Just managed to clock up 4.5 hrs yesterday:( bringing my total up to 23/45:eek:. The little one is ill again today so I won't be able to go to work until after lunch. The unfortunate thing is that as I am on site at a clients premises I can only work until 6pm when they close . If I am working from the office I can stay as late as I like so can often be found there until 8pm or 9pm when needed. It looks like I while be working this weekend ( again) to make up some of the time.:( DH is on holiday next week and I can guarantee that all the kids will be fit as fiddles :).

    Got a headache that I can't shift but I think that I have not fully recovered from Tuesday. Oh and the noise in my car is getting worse :(:mad:

    Have a good day

    Better go and bung some washing in the machine:)

  • hi 40sm,

    Sorry to hear your car is making awful noises. And I hope that you feel better soon. You're probably right about next week, with your hubby bein off, you can almost guarantee that the kids will be ok!

    Hope everything works out, and dont work too hard!;)

    As DH gets paid every Friday I have just spent this morning rearranging his bank account:). He/We/ I :p am now left with £145.00.

    Outgoings.

    Petrol £20..
    Birthday present £10 (ds1 invited to party)
    AA & Car ins £45.00

    This leaves £70.00 for food & groceries:eek::eek:

    It is also my birthday this week ( I wonder if he has bought me anything:think:) I will have to instruct him not to spend anything on my birthday if he hasn't already done it. Same goes for Mothers Day. ( kids can make me a card;)). We do plan to go out to lunch on my birthday though .. not sure how that will fit into the budget though :(.

    Or so I thought ! Just got in from work and DH has informed me that he has spent £50 today:eek:

    £20 petrol (ok)
    £14 birthday present ( i only wanted to spend £10:()
    £10 Mcdonalds ( for him & the kids:mad:)
    £6 (other bits):mad::mad:

    This now means that i have only got £50 for groceries :mad::eek: . Of course he is not best pleased that I am complaining about him spending money....he is not quite getting it.... is he ?

    I am now feeling a bit tearful . I will have to work this weekend to make Up the time lost this week . I can't see me being able to take time off for a holiday.... EVER:(. I am so tired of it all and it does not help that DH is on holiday next week .

    Kids are now bickering :mad:

    Oh honey :(

    Does your DH know the extent (or maybe limit?) of your budget? Is there anyway you can discuss it without it seeming like a moan/rant? Maybe it could help?
