I have read about your history and I think you are very brave and a credit to your family.:A

I strated young had my 1st at 17.....my eldest is 29 in July my youngest 21..lol..I have 5 all together
My grandson is 5 years old and my Grandaughter 4 1/2 months old.
It is only since most of the kids left home (one returned..lol) that I've been able to really work hard and to think about getting out of debt.
Child care was a big isue when ours were smaller as there was no help then with costs. The cost of bringing up children must be quite high though now as they expect all the good stuff..(most do)
Everything will improve over time with you..baby steps lead to big strides.0 -
:hello:Good morning 40sm,
hope your feeling a bit better this morning, and you have had a ((hug)) from you OHfor yesterday, I'm sure he was only thinking of you when he spent, (some men just don't realise, I'm sure they were ment to be born with their heads permantly stuck in the sand:rotfl:) it does make you wonder, My DH went and spent £80 on car bits yesterday:mad: but it was out of his allowance so didn't affect my budget, proberbly will when he needs som petrol money though:( however I do budget for that also just in case.
I do now believe that I have managed to convince him that every penny saved comes off the debt ( well I've only been trying for the last 21 years) I blame his mother:D always gives in when asked, have told her to say no more often but then it's down to her.
hope you have a nice mothers day put your feet up and let them do the running :rotfl:(there again?).
chat later

Thanks Ruby,
You have no need to be sorry hun:A I was just being a bit self-absorbed yesterday:( . Fridays used to be:j:jas DH gets paid but the last few weeks its been a bit:( because after I have paid all the bills we are left with hardly anything and the following week is always a struggle . Something unexpected always turns up too like the Birthday party that DS1 is going to . Nice for him but a bit  for me.
How are you ? Feeling better ?

40sm - childrens birthday parties and the presents. I always found it hard work when my two were at that age. I eventually gave up and bought multiples of those slabs of chocolates that woolies sold when they were on offer along with a voucher or a fiver. I found it so difficult.
Hope you are ok today. With OH off next week do you get to slow down a little ?DC.

Hopefully. It means I can get to work earlier and therefore leave earlier
AND I won't have to do the school run:T
Got anything nice planned this weekend DC ?0 -
You know not having the school run is a welcome relief at times isn't it? Just an extra 10 - 15 minutes each end of the school day.
Weekend ? spent this morning decluttering the kitchen windowsill ! How sad - and bad that I let it get in that state ! - is that ? Buttons, empty candle glass, dead leaves from my attempts at herb growing, trouble is one must attempt cleaning kitchen window ? But then I'd see the garden....
Rest of the weekend pottering.
You ?DC.
