I know I haven't introduced myself but I have been reading for a few days and it is so up beat. Mike you are a great guy and will get through this.
I just thought this Latin phrase might be needed.

Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam.

    Glenda

That's a phrase one can use so often!

Welcome to the thread. You have good taste in men.

SO SO TRUE, It happened to me, a wise man once said ALL the right things to me JUST when I needed to hear them, very inciteful man that I was trying to help at the time, turned out he was more helpful to me & I'll always be grateful for the things he said.

    He also said.........!!!! HAPPENS!;)

Everything happens for a reason even if we can't always see what that reason is...

Just do it! Get the witch to drop the boys off next weekend. Go out and about walking, down the beach (if you are safe in Bognor) and then feed them soup. Bet you all have a fab time too!

Pick those socks, sorry, stockings up and pull them as far as they will go and just do it. If nothing else, the sight of you with socks pulled that far up will make you giggle because you will think of us all as you do it! :D

You are so right redlady, though my instinct would be a beach BBQ if yuo're allowed them - and Mike, please will you post pics? :D

Oi Tufty, party at your place me thinks! :D

Offend me??? Don't be daft! I can see a similar sense of humour between us.

The neighbour saga - I ended up being reported to Environmental Health for the chiming of my clock and the noise of my tumble dryer amongst other things. The EH guy told me to change my phone number and keep a log. I ended up threatening them with the police if they didnt stop spying and interfering with my life. I wouldn't have minded but they were only about 30 and they owned their property (I rented)and thought that gave them a right to tell me what to do. The problems started when he moved his girlie in...I swear she had issues! :D

£7k for a 20p?! Now that is a very good return!

Mike...you are a very bad man! :D Judging by your latin abilities should I ask, is that with Sage??! (let's see if you can get that one!)

Billie, you are having a nightmare time with that car. Kick it, it will make you feel better. :)

Miggy - yum, a beach barbie! Not had one of those for a while.

Hi Mike and everyone else - had one hell of a day
    Hey Billie,
It sounds dire even from this distance. Maybe this thread could magic up a handy car mechanic to put things right? It seems to get results in so many other directions. I'm not sure it extends to organised bosses, though... did you end up staying behind to finish for him?
