I take it you mean a cement mixer, or is it the Kenwood sort?

One good thing, I've done a bit of a job on the design project I was given. I had a burst of creativity at 4.30am (as you do) and had to get started. It's my time of day, it seems.

I always twiddle around until I am happy with it and that can take a while. Feels good now so that can go in on Monday as promised, and with luck I might get a few more crumbs off their table.

I'm still not right, but it's great to know I still seem able to do a reasonable job.

    Purple, huh?

No-one's going to nick that, anyway!

Screwfix do cement mixers quite cheap if you have to replace it...

I've always fancied one. Goes with manly stuff like sharpening pencils with a penknife, and petrol mowers.

It's a good image, no? Me stripped to the waist shovelling in sand and cement, my legs hanging from my shorts like bits of cotton.........

I've deleted that red letter post because SouthernBelle's just had a litter of kittens...

Maybe subsequent posters should delete the quoted version in case she gets a panic attack or something...
