Have you found anyone else that he has done work for ?? maybe you could liase with them see what stories they can offer, i think word of mouth alone will ruin the business that he had, i dont want to get carried away with taking over the world and ruin the guy and his family i think id be quite haoppy knowing you got all your cash back and he didnt take anyone elses money and run x

I'm still really pleased for you.

I would agree with others about you not deleting your post on page 27 it's really quite significant.

Many people will be able to relate to it. It never ceases to amaze me what we have achieved in our past lives and the wonderment of how on earth we have got to where we are now, seemingly incapable of doing the simplest of things. In our daily lives we walk the walk and talk the talk but somehow that isn't really our lives, it's lipservice to life and existance. I guess to some who have never experienced real depression would be horrified that one could be proud of the achievement of dusting and vaccuuming. It takes so many years for depression to manifest itself and by the time it does, it's way too late for "snap out of it" and I think it's only recently that the realisation of a long haul recovery is the way forward. It's not a case of replacing the memory, your hardrive is completely corrupted and needs to be completely stripped down and reporgrammed.

Mike, I commend you for articulating your problems and symptoms, the phrases you use, the words, they will ring true to so many, and for them to see and know that they are not alone and they're not going mad and that things can get better is an inspiration.

Good point speirso... might be an idea to let so called employer know he might not like the idea of having his business tarnished and thus naught builder will be possibly disposed of
