Oh, and I was reading "The Sun" on my lunchbreak and there was a full page dedicated to a family who put posters up about a dodgy builder.
I thought you'd hit the big time and not told us!

It was quite exciting - and then it wasn't you.
But I did imagine next Fridays lunchbreak with Mike + The MSE'rs (Note: NOT Mechanics) in a full page crusade against dodgy builders!

OK. First - thanks for all the messages and PMs.... aren't you nice?

All went very well. Not sure where to start - they've only just left. I'm exhausted.

Good on several levels, I think I managed to get the right phrases in, they filmed enough material for a 13-part series, and I made a couple of really useful contacts. Can't talk about them on here, as RAS will understand.

Just such detail - I never imagined it. Every shot in different views, using different phrases, then again using the builder's name. Yep, they're trying to get authorisation to name and shame him. Even if they don't he'll choke on his dinner when he sees the tone used against 'the builder (spit)'. It will also flush out other creditors and we can consider a class action against him and lots of media coverage (and emails from you guys) to maybe get the little rat.

Surprisingly it won't air until the end of this month at the earliest because they need to edit it all down to 3 minutes, add new voiceovers and obtain legal clearance. On the upside, they will advise in good time when it will be shown, so I can contact all the local papers and stuff so they report the programme rather than the case.

Great people - all very clever, and you have no idea what goes into producing even the shortest film. I decided to be open about my name and the house name and clearly identified my general location. If I get firebombed in April, speak of me with fond memories.

A couple of people who were also here offered help. We're talking influential senior peeps who can start things happening in the background that us mere mortals (and you non-celebrities) can't. So all good on that front too.

I think that covers the main points. If you'll excuse me I am bursting for a wee but I couldn't keep you waiting a moment longer.....!

8 this morning until about 7pm...

I will def tell you when it's on....

But for now I have to move all the furniture back where I like it!
