Please advise - it's all gone SO wrong

The CAB guy (late night opening by popular demand: three advisers - no more waiting...) gave me the name (after he picked himself up off the floor) of an organisation which has names of solicitors prepared to do work under Legal Aid. I shall ring them tomorrow. My concern isn't about finding a Legal Aid solicitor as such, but of finding a GOOD one.

Good luck - and have fun with it! I really hoe they use the clip sooner rather than later and that you get a full 15 minutes, not an edited minute or three!

Well I didnt know what it meant either Mike! But then I have only just worked out a couple of other abbreviations. :whistle:

Keep that positivity going and make sure you look spick and span so that the wonderful builder guy will see you and think "!!!!!!, that is not a broken man. I am in deep poo"

Currently I see the builder and think, he's got my money! That is not a broken man. I am in deep poo...

Just caught up with this thread and I, too am impressed with your courage and humour, Mike.

Wishing all the best in your quest for justice. If that builder does look at this forum, surely he'd see what we all think of him and hopefully feel some shame?

Wow, thanks, and nice of you to say hi.

I doubt he has computer skills (I'm being diplomatic here) to go online and if he sees this, as you say, anyone normal would feel a tinge of guilt. But talking to another creditor today I am finally convinced he's just a very convincing conman and all round sh it.

I am just me, and in wobbly moments wonder if I should close this thread down and have a mug of !!!!!!. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't care less. But I'd miss the people and the public and private messages.

I'm a bit overwhelmed right now. I can't see how I can possibly do the things I need to do. Dealing with the courts is a royal pain in the asss. I need to remember that my physical and mental health has been badly affected by months and months of dead ends and feeling bad about my environment. At the end of the day (hate that expression but it is, technically, the end of the day so just this once) I'm just me and no man is an island. I won't keep going on about how great the people on here are being, but they are.

(Bet you wish you hadn't written to me now)

Nope, I don't wish that at all! Please don't wobble. We are real people on here and I, for one, would care about you. There are many others I'm sure, in the "real" world who would too if they only got to know you, your personality shines through your posts.

If you feel that bad/wobbly, please consider calling the Samaritans or a local helpline.
It's frustrating to be only able to "talk" on a forum to you.
