On a more sober note...

Our man said under oath that he only had one other CCJ. There are three at least. I spoke to a company this afternoon who he claimed to have fully repaid £1800. They have never received a penny from him and are still trying to enforce their debt. And as I mentioned previously, there re others, the largest one I've found being for £7334.

The lady this afternoon runs a small family company and her description of the man is so familiar - friendly, concerned, and everything he says is a lie.

This feels like a big setback - he is clearly a brazen crook who is going to be hard to pin down. I may go to the CAB and see if I can get a solicitor to take it on under legal aid. And I've still got to do a basket of ironing tonight.

I think I'll write to the court and see if they can look into whether he perjured himself. If so, that's quite serious, I think.

Mr Paul * attended an Order for Questioning in connection with this case on ***** **, 2009 at my request. One of the questions asked of him was ‘Have any court orders been made against you?’

It is recorded that Mr *admitted one dated ******* 2009, for £1,810.00 by *** **** of which £**** remained unpaid at that time. I have spoken to this company who say Mr * has never paid them anything towards the debt.

• I have searched the Registry Trust database and notice that it includes another issued by **** court for £681 dated ***** **, 2009.

• Another from *****court for £7,334 is dated ***** *, 2009.

Mr * would have been fully aware of these two further judgments when he took an oath to provide true answers.

I am concerned that it appears that Mr * provided false information while under oath at the hearing I requested.

Mr * has failed to repay any of the money outstanding to me since August 2008, and the information I wished to obtain via the Order for Questioning was and is relevant to my subsequent applications to the court to enforce the CCJ. There were numerous oversights on the part of the questioning officer at ****, which I complained about to them in writing, and for which I was given apologies and an assurance that the errors on their part had no concrete effect on the CCJ I was seeking, and that the judge at ***** had been informed of the error on ******* part.

I simply wish to have accurate information about Mr * financial position to enable me to apply for the appropriate form of enforcement. It would appear that the information provided by Mr * was plainly untrue, possibly deliberately.

I have obtained a legal opinion on this which was that I should raise this with you to determine whether he perjured himself. In that case, you will no doubt wish to look into this.

The whole legal system is leakier than a leaky thing and seems to be there to protect the interests of people like this.

Can I ask you to re-read your thread and just think how useful the information on here might be to the man you are trying to nail? This is a public forum and the information provided means that you could possibly be identified.

Given that you are trying to take legal action and that there is likely to be publicity that might enable him to pick up on this thread, I think you need to edit a lot of your posts and certainly to take down all your letters.

I for one would be seeking to find out where you got your advice, if i was him and would google large chunks of the text of letters.

How could you get the information of how much he owes from the company? If you write that, surely DPA is an issue here - obviously not your issue, but the company could deny what they've said to prevent getting a slap on the wrists?

On a better note - your letter's wicked! What a transformation from a few weeks ago!

I have no doubt that you're right - but what are the implications of Mike being identified or the builder finding this thread?
Having the letters here and the information that's here surely won't impact the case? There's nothing libellous/slanderous (Is that a word?).

Just interested in what could potentially cause an issue.

Oh and please do listen to RAS, he talks a lot of sense. He helped me before when I had a court case and I am very glad I removed my letters and edited my info accordingly.

Oh and I won thanks to the help and advice received on here. I couldn't have done it without them all.
