Not when you leave. When you arrive. Avoids misunderstanding later.

Woot!
The Beeb's just confirmed they have my letter, no problems their end, and will be here in force at 8.30 in the morning.
God help me, I've really got the squits now...

Also in the news this hour
Very nice lady builder here. Unusual combination of construction, psychological and motivational skills.
In a nutshell, she'll advise me what to do and meet the council with me to get planning permission and building regs consent, which Bob the Builder said he was doing and didnt. Water under the bridge now.
She'll keep me supplied with materials, offcuts and bits as and when my pocket allows. She knows people.
She is a one-woman whirlwind, and she believes as I am not working yet I should get off my big fat lardy and do the work myself. She also reminded me that colleges run courses for people on benefit. I had not considered that while I had the tribunal hanging over me, but that's sorted. (OK Redlady and others, take your best shot... you were talking sense.)
And the way she talked it feels like everything's just dead easy, and can be done progressively. (I still want someone to come in and make it all beautiful but that's not happening so far).
So that's the plan. I may have to get some people in now and then but for the life of my I can't think what for, the electrics and structural stuff having been done a year ago.
Now, this is where I might be asking anyone within striking distance for help... because I cannot do this alone, and even though my sons will want to help I don't want them seeing a weekend at daddy's as a total dust-fest. Facebook pages don't update themselves, you know.
So, form an orderly queue...
Caterers on the left...

Well done, great progress. I have been following this from the beginning and really admire your tenacity you really deserve this to be resolved in your favour. I wish you all the best and will continue to follow with interest to the final outcome. You have right on your side it is a shame the process is so slow and that you have to do all the work but I am sure you will get there, hopefully sooner rather than later.yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift thats why its called the present0

That's lovely of you to say so!
We all do our best all the time, but sometimes it just seems too much.

Yes, come over and pretend to be my cleaner or something! It's Alistair whoever... cunningly disguised as bald, cockney, curse of the cowboy constructor, Dom Littlewood.

See, got there in the end! And look how much better you feel already? It's good to see things are improving for you.
I know how you feel because I have a renovation project and it's taking its toll on me! I had my LBM regarding this fairly recently and now have a much more relaxed (yeah right!) attitude. But one thing I do know, is that anger is destructive. Now, you can see the light and you are fighting back by just surviving. It really is the best feeling knowing you took the hits and survived. Dig deep young Michael, you can do this. :j
P.S. Is it ok for me to print out that bit about talking sense. No one who knows me would believe that!0
