See what did I say earlier - leaving the office and it will happen whilst I am beavering away at 2nd job - I come home and you have all been having a party without me - well charming that's what I say. No seriously Mike I got your PM. I am so chuffed I could cry - this is such wonderful, fantastic, b****y good news and so what does it actually mean that you won!! What happens now or have missed a bit. I am quite speechless actually. Great super get the champagne out and damn the expense. Ought to go to bed soon as up early for a meeting, but hope I will get a reply, otherwise another sleepless night wondering. Heh guys the force of this forum is amazing - now for my wish OH a job and us debtfree - not too much to ask is it!! Love you all Billie xx

It means they start paying me the incapacity benefit component of the benefit again, which isn't huge but will make a huge difference. They backdate it too so it's a small sum that you can use to get a few basics sorted out and pay a few bills.

And it's nice to stick it to the man once in a while (although I have found the DWP and its people excellent). I didn't expect them to keep me in great style but they've got me through a tough patch. I know I paid taxes for 30 something years, but most of us do. Yes I was entitled to it. But it has been a fight getting it back and I really appreciate it.
