Oh Poo, I have nothing to add to SBs (perfect as always!) sentiments on your change of job. Just wanted to send you a hug and hoping you are ok.:grouphug:

I am off to work at this godawful hour after hardly any sleep again. I hate it being so hot at night!

Memories are the charms on the bracelet of life.

    What a brilliant phrase!

Made me laugh, but sometimes someone gets you a charm that you are not very keen on though!

Poo, I hate leaving anywhere and goodbyes are the worst :( When you have been somewhere that long most of them feel like family as they have been through so many of life's ups and downs with you so it must have been a very emotional day.

But today is another day, and is saturday, and I am off to Scotland for a family lunch tomorrow :j:j:j

Back late Monday so try not to wind Mike up too much while I am away :rotfl:

I'm trying to keep up with the thread......

Mike now has a pet robin instead of a mouse ?

I always thought poosmate was 'young' so how can she have had the same job for 25 years?

What is the difference between a spade and a shovel?

No but I'm a life coach if that will help - No charge for nice people.

Mike how is life on the whirlwinds tail at the moment? So much going on, hope it's all positive for you.

Ooooh! I always wanted a life coach! This could be my chance...!

    And don't I need it!

Was at the poor little cottage for the last time before the A Team move in, picking up my last possessions... and it's all started. I haven't a clue what they're doing but it involves mud on a grand scale from under the concrete floors. More questions than answers now, but looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

I think they're starting a brickworks in the hall.

:D Ahhh the mud under the concrete floors - that will be the tunnel they talked about, rumour has it that it leads straight to the bar in the New Inn. Killerwatt let slip it is to get coloured glitterball lighting and a sort of stair lift for the bad days.

The bricks in the hall are a dead givaway. Secretly they have decided the house is not worth bothering with and intend to demolish the current building just leaving the front wall. Behind that will be a tasteful brick lean too.

Can I be on the newsletter circuit pleeeease!!

Have been pretty much a lurker since the beginning, & hate the thought that I can't see what is going on. I would have loved to have come down to help, but a pesky operation got in the way of that.
Do I need to PM anyone to get the newsletter?
