Hello to one and all :wave:

I’ve been lurking on this thread for ages, but finally decided to post to say how amazing you have all been in supporting Mike, and what a truly inspirational thread this is. I had to admit I had a tear in my eye when Mike gave the fantastic news about the big build going ahead.

I ended up reading pages 1 – 132 over 3 nights – I was totally hooked, and could not stop reading (think I was up until 3am on night!), and have been catching up every few days since.

I am absolutely delighted for you Mike - I truly hope you end up with a fantastic home for you and the boys to enjoy once everything is finished. And I’m sure you’ll all celebrate in style on the day of the big reveal! _party_ :beer:

Now pleeeeeaase can I be included in the email/newsletter (the real reason why I posted ), as I hate not knowing what’s going on (saying that it must be even harder for Mike, but you do get a wonderful surprise at the end!). Who do I need to PM my email address to?

Thank you! I've watched hundreds of these shows over many years and never given any thought to the background. One assumes it's all exactly as they say... the owner family spends a week away or at a friend's. No mention of them being called in to do filmed bits every few days.

And I never imagined for a second that I'd ever need to be on such a show. I just never thought I'd need help so badly. I find the whole thing fascinating and it's getting very exciting now!
