Oh my! I have just read through from start up to page 85 (well skimmed a bit) and I have a long drive tomorrow so have to go to bed. I'm on the edge of my seat. I missed the programme and really want to see it.

Wow, Mike you are a real inspiration. Well Done!!!!

I had a (was going to say similar but it isn't really) situation but no naughty builders involved and just me to blame. I took on a project I couldn't afford (first time buyer, all on my own, with limited income and thought it would be easy - clueless really) and lived in a building site for nearly two years. Two winters without heating is not nice! However, I am now on the up and up, been in the house 4 yrs total and my house is not finished but comfortable. I have walls, heating, flooring, you know all the essentials. But I guess what I am trying to say is that I understand how trapped it makes you feel, lonely and depressed when it is just you and no one else to share the burdon. I am inspired my your story so far but on the edge of my seat and really want to watch the programme you were featured in to see the outcome. Some of your posts made me cry and I really really admire your bounce back ability with something this life changing.

Do you know if they are showing it again at any point? I will read the rest of the posts tomorrow night if not.

Can't believe I've been offline for a week and its all turned around. If you need any bods / help Mike I can come down. Even if I get a job NOW I don't think I'll be started by then. If you don't then I can watch at home with a glass of champers and a nice warm feeling.

A very traumatic day in the mouse's life too, probably.

Still haven't quite got this cotton wool. It was so the mouse wouldn't get hurt, right?

You're so right about the loneliness. It's not something you shout about. Going through the legal bits and having to meet the b***** in court four times was lonely too.

One of the best days was when the beeb was here for The One Show. I suddenly thought - hey, they're taking me seriously. It was the first time I felt supported by a big organisation, and they thought I was right and he was wrong. There is a tendency to think... well some of it WAS my fault...
