    Yes!! I've done it!

I remember when you started your thread Mike and I did read for the first 15 pages or so but didn't post and then (as usual) went a little pear shaped around here and I didn't have the chance to check up on the thread.

Well, as is my normal thing, I just happened to click on the last page of your thread on Sunday (I think) and noticed something good had happened so then had to go back and find out where I had last read the thread....and I have finally got to the end.

Your thread has kept me company over the last few nights where sleep has been avoiding me and study got too boring but instead of helping me to sleep, I just kept wanting to read more and more to get to the end (I'm like that, bit obsessive you see and hate a job half done)....but at least it allowed my eyes to eventually get tired enough and my brain to be full enough to shut for a little while.

I have no idea how you have coped with everything, I am not sure I would have been able to and I'm a fairly strong person, so huge kudos to you.

The MSE crowd are wonderful aren't they, I have also been the recipient of their wonderful support and it is thanks to some of them, that me and my boys are having a holiday this year, something which seemed impossible just a few short months ago.

By the way, I am also a Taurean, I don't like purple (black is my favourite colour), I have also suffered from depression (currently ok), I don't own any hats of any colour, high heels are sadly a part of my history and not my future...but I could give Nigella a run for her money in the boob stakes!

Quite like the idea of a piggy wheelbarrow though......
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Nigella's OK if you like those sort of things.

Hi Mike  - Fantastic News :T

Just got in from Amsterdam after two weeks away. Donny-Gal had sent me an email with the great news. I am thrilled. Just waded thru two weeks worth of your thread [ phew - HOW many new friends do you now have? Even Neville.

Don't know how many of the MSE's are planning to help out but as I live not too far away you can count me in. Not much use with a sewing machine but can do any other stuff that is needed. I don't need my face on the TV, would spoil the show, but I am sure I could be of some use. I am handy in the cooking department and could bring a portable BBQ and rustle up some grub.

Guess you have told your showbiz friend Dom, he could include it on the one show again as a follow up.

I will think some more, meanwhile just enjoy the whole crazy experience.

Thanks. What with Neville, my front room sounds like a zoo.

Actually, he's not been around for two days. There's a bump under a rug. Should I look?
