That was a bit uncalled for Mike.

No, we don't know the full extent of your predicament but the help and support has been here in leaps and bounds.

Sorry if my idea of yet another Court case offended, I, like many, was only trying to help.

Sorry and good luck to you.

    Bye

Yes it was. And I know I kicked off a bit but depressed people often interpret comments as personal attacks.

Also I have been feeling really tense today and got a lovely PM from someone and it just opened the floodgates and I'm sitting here sobbing - not from pity but frustration. You have no idea how much these nice simple support comments mean. Or maybe you do. Note to self, don't react to posts too quickly.

Sorry I didn't see your post as it rolled back a page. You know from the PMs that I appreciate your help.

    Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.

Don't worry - let the man have a rant. He's entitled. I would write a counter-post about how he could see and deal with his predicament differently but I don't think he wants to hear it ;)

I'm sorry mate. I do value suggestions. It's all been a bit much today. Forgive me.

As regards to your childs asthma, would a letter from the GP help, you need as much evidence as possible to show the judge the house is unfit for you and your childs health.
  • Nothing to forgive Mike. I think what you want from this thread is concrete legal advice, and not one of my pep-talks, which probably came across as patronising.

Yep. I can arrange that. My boys live 60 miles away and one's at school the other's at college, and they both have their jobs and friends near their home. It's not practical to 'move' them here for more than a few days but if a chap can't even have his sons stay a weekend without needing to go to outpatients for nebulising, it's a poor world!

I don't know what I need. Something. Something will come along.

And I'm sorry you were closest when I went off.

You know we are all supporting one another Mike, in different ways and the thing is that some of you don't even know how you are helping me but you are. Just keep us all informed and we can group hug and that alone is worth so very much. You can do it, you will do it and you will look back on these times and think what was all that about. Well, that's what I keep having to tell myself. It will happen - honest - Billie xx

Here, here. I'd like to second Billie's opinion! (Her (or are you a he?) threat to break my arms - at my request, I should add! - worked wonders for me. :rotfl::rotfl:)

Hope you've made it through lunch and root canal work!!!

Lying in the dentist's chair for an hour was so relaxing after the past week I nearly fell asleep!

And I got TWO stickers for being brave...
