I have given away on freegle one double metal bed frame and a high sleeper cabin bed.

Went to pay for my shopping in mr s and realised i could cash in 2.50 of points and got a spend 30 get 3 off voucher in return - result all helps in my cutting my spending habbit

Yesterday I bought a beautiful kimono style dressing gown and lovely beaded skirt from the charity shop. The skirt doesn't fit me but I'm hoping it will when I've lost more weight. It was too nice to pass up. I also bought a lovely cat mug and an old fashioned milk jug from the local Scout shop.

My OH has lots of envelopes through the post containing his many "essential" purchases of parts for remote control cars, toy helicopters and so on...I have at last made progress (i.e. my nagging has paid off) and today for the first time he presented me with a couple of old jiffy envelopes that he had opened carefully so that I could re-use them when selling on ebay.

Today I went to collect a cat scratching activity tree from an old lady who lives at the end of my friend's road. It had been put out in her garden with some other rubbish to be collected by the council so I asked if we could have it and took her a box of chocs as a thank you, she was chuffed :) Best part is that I was just about to order one online for £40 so now I don't have to :j

Today I made a bath mat out of a length of pink polkadot towelling passed on by an elderly friend. Very shabby-chic, very Cath Kidston & FREE :D

Today I received 3 handknit baby cardigans from a freecycler..and when I got there she asked if, as I'm having an autumn baby, I'd like a snowsuit too...lovely it is too!

I also picked up a lovely highchair for £7 from netmums...not free but still frugal!
