Yesterday I bought a beautiful kimono style dressing gown and lovely beaded skirt from the charity shop. The skirt doesn't fit me but I'm hoping it will when I've lost more weight. It was too nice to pass up. I also bought a lovely cat mug and an old fashioned milk jug from the local Scout shop. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

My OH has lots of envelopes through the post containing his many "essential" purchases of parts for remote control cars, toy helicopters and so on...I have at last made progress (i.e. my nagging has paid off) and today for the first time he presented me with a couple of old jiffy envelopes that he had opened carefully so that I could re-use them when selling on ebay.0
