I went to help clear out a friends Mum's flat again today, we went during half term & did the bedroom & lounge, today we did the kitchen & I came home with a small slow cooker, 4 glass mixing bowls, two small casserole dishes, a glass paperweight, 5 pieces of white oven to tableware, a plastic sieve, a pyrex measuring jug, a large lock & lock storage box, a box of Dax & a bottle of Comfort, phew, it was hard work but an enjoyable day & I'm very grateful for all my freebies. We also took 4 boxes to the charity shop, 3 boxes back to my friends house & filled 2 dustbins.

Gave away some more bits on freecycle. All stuff that was cluttering up the place and I wasn't using. And in reply got some really nice and polite both requesting and thank you emails.
Like the story above where someone baked a cake to say thanks for the veg, that's really kind.

Actually I have currently, sitting in a pot on my dresser, the sum of 44p found on the pavements and said caravan!! My aim is to keep all such finds for a year and see how much I collect. I only started in January so you never know I might have a right old spend up in December.

Gave away on freecycle, washing machine, fridge, rad cover and have 2 things yet to be picked up.
In return I got a tidy garage I can walk through! Next door neighbour has offered me 3 big bags of girls clothes so can't wait to go around and have a look!

I found a thread winder in a craft shop for 33p, and ten paint pipettes for £1.15. One of my hens is crop-bound at the moment and I used one of the pipettes to squirt olive oil down her throat and then massaged her crop. Hopefully she'll be better in the morning. I can see these pipettes being used for everything except paint!

Oh and I found 4p yesterday. And 20p under the sofa when I pulled it out to hoover underneath (a very rare occurence lol!)

The other day in the CS's I bought a brand new with tags (£15) pair of leather sandals for £2.99. I also got a huge tub of beads for £2.95 I'd been looking to buy similar online and it would have cost at least £10 to £15. And got 2 fab chunky design pint mugs for just 75p each. :)
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
