Hi melmar
Sorry for being a pain but could you update Malwarebytes again and run a full scan and then post the log file for that scan here when you have time.0 -
i have tried to update Malwarebytes but it wont let me, keep getting error code, i have also tried to do it the way Andy posted but im not sure what im doing sorry.
Should i uninstall and then download again would that cure the problem, sorry to be a pain0 -

No, no you are not being a pain.
Okay, uninstall Malwarebytes via Add or Remove Programmes, download the latest version of Malwarebytes from filehippo.com
Make sure its the latest version downloaded, open it and then update it and run a full scan.
If it doesn't work come back and we'll try something else.0 -
i unistalled then downloaded latest version opened it and tried to update again but still getting error code- Error 732: Error updating the database or product. Check Internet connectivity.

Hi been back to Malwarebytes and no matter what i try it will not let me update, have uninstalled, downloaded etc still no joy or i am i running the right one- its database is 3458-and when i try to update i kep getting error code posted below.
Have also re-run Superantispyware this morning which sorted one problem and Spybot which found nothing so its just Malwarebytes that im stuck on or hopefully running right one.
thanks in advance0 -
Malwarebytes dtabase version should be 3746 now.
Did you download the Malwarebytes update file in post #36?
Did you try Reluctants online scan in post #26?0 -
Ok - another option for you is to click here --> http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/AVPTool/
That is a direct link to Kaspersky standalone anti virus programme. It will have the latest definitions so as long as you can download it all should be ok.
Download it and run it.
If that fails then I have another suggest.
There are enough of us here to sort this out.0 -
