Good idea about the spinach Maintane, but its already in the oven. Serving it with carrots and peas though, so still got our veggies

Wow! This tastes beautiful! Caramelising the onions was a stroke of genius too as it adds some sweetness to it.

My 2 children and I have just polished it off. Mopped up the juices with some HM bread.

make some mash. fry the chopped bacon then add to the mash and put in a casserole dish. put some grated cheese on top and put into a hot oven. I do this as a side with boiled bacon or sometimes as a main for myself and OH. oh I serve baked beans with it then.
