Garmin i3 for £99

I saw an advert in the paper today for the Garmin i3 in Halfords, it was £99 including installation!

Ordered one from Comet last night at £99.99 with their free 'basic' delivery.

My first online purchase from Comet. Have to say an imperfect experience so far as got chance to choose delivery day - Friday - during ordering, but a few hours later the ack' email said "Due to an order query, your order has been passed to our administration team to be completed" and delivery may be delayed. Later email had moved it to the following Monday for delivery and said have to phone their 0870 number if not suitable.

Fortunately that is suitable, but how bizarre in this day and age that a system is designed to mess you around in this way! Not a good omen.

At this rate I'll be running out of websites to buy electrics from as I'm 100% boycotting Currys/Dixons after the most appalling service from them earlier in the year.

FYI: Halfords online is £99.99 too but says "This Product is not available to buy online."

What does "including Instllation" mean?

Does that mean extra stuff for Instllations that you do not normally get elsewhere.

or

Does that mean they Install for you what you normally get everywhere.

Just ordered one and received an ack' email confirming the date I requested (11th Aug was earliest option). Cheers for the warning that this may change.

Funnily enough a mate was showing me his which he had picked up for £125 from Comet a couple of weeks ago, I was impressed enough to try and find one then at that price, but I couldn't find it - that saved me £25.

Just got one delivered yesterday from comet ordered on saturday IIRC. Anyway havent tried it but it DOES have a 256mb transflash card and it is as posted above - TINY.
