Although I live in Milton Keynes, I was down in London today and had a look at the Comet store in South Ruislip just on the off-chance. Amazingly, saw one in a cabinet marked at £99.99. Was over the moon, so went to the checkout and the assistant went out the back to get one. The man scanned it at the till and he said "that'll be £129.99 please". I explained it said £99.99 in the cabinet, so he went and checked before then overriding the computer's price and giving it to me for the £99.99 price.
I tried it on the way home and, to be honest, I had expected it to be a bit naff for £99. However, I was bowled over by how good it was. Thanks to the OP and all others who recommended it - an excellent buy!0 -

actually uses micro SD cards (aka Transflash) like the ones used in some high spec mobile phones. They're smaller than mini-SD.
My version (bought several months ago) came with the card and I bought an extra one to load up US maps for a hol.Moneysaving is costing me a fortune!0 -

Well after I updated from 2.7 to 3.1 I have had quite a few problems and so have most people who have done this, the maps are very slow to update, it does random re calculations and sometimes shows the the arrow as no where near the road! Worked perfectly on 2.7, worst thing I did was updating!0 -

I know, but after reading a couple of people on the Pocket GPS world site who did this and had even worse problems, I'm just waiting for 3.2 now :rotfl:0 -
