Bought one of these from somerfield earlier in the year for £99. Then bought the US mapping software and took it with me on holiday and had 2 weeks of stress free driving around Texas. T'is a bargain for £99.
Moneysaving is costing me a fortune!
  • Thanks for info. I've just ordered one. It was £129 a few days ago, and there were none available in our local store. I bought the Navman 320 instead for my husband's birthday because I wanted it for the next day. It was £125 in Asda. However, it couldn't pick up any satellite signals, so Asda gave me a full refund yesterday. Hope we have better luck with this one.

Well worth it, just buy some rechargable AA batteries for it, £9.99.

Got mine from Kwik Save for £99 in January. Love it! Rarely lets me down. Easy to use, no fuss. Got one for my sister who travels the length of the UK and she loves it too.

Tried a friends Navman and it had a problem picking up satellites too. Much prefered my Garmin (didnt like having to use the stylus on the Navman)

Why pay many hundreds for something else that has a couple of bells and whistles when this does the job nicely. Also am I right in thinking that all Sat Navs will date with time and you would need to spend a lot on updated maps?

If so, spend the least you have to and replace it in a few years.

Bought mine from sommerfield for £99 back a bit, but I wanted it for a bike - and it is of no use - no secure way to attach the kit (ie that it wont fall off when you hit a bump) and no headphone socket so you can't listen to directions.

I then sold it on ebay for a reasonable profit.

Definately a brilliant tool for this price - you just sometimes need the right tool for the right job. And if anyone thinks I'm going to pay £600 for tomtom rider then they can think again!

As previously stated, if you use this product a lot (and you will!!) then you really need to use rechargeable batteries or it will become expensive to 'run'. https://www.7dayshop.com have a bit of a bargain in this dept.

OK, the P&P is pretty steep but remember you are not only getting a fast charger but also 4 x 2600mAh batteries! All for £9.79 plus P&P. Plenty of other chargers on there as well.

PS Not a huge amount, but don't forget the 1% cashback thru Quidco...
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
