    Hi RMC,
Finally tracked down your diary and read through it - what a long way you have come in such a short time:T

My friend has just given up smoking using the tablets and like you, she did put a little weight on in the first couple of weeks, but she has really settled now and is back to normal eating (it was 6 weeks yesterday that she have up - we get a daily reminder! :))

I'm going to subscribe now cos it took ages to get through all 19 pages, but it was worth every minute, you are an inspiration!:A
Proud to be dealing with my debts,

Awh thank- you sweetie! (for reading and for the lovely comments!

Well done your friend too! 8 days for me today and I have to say there were difficulties in the first week - I was dying to smoke. My sister-in-law arrives for a week on Friday and she smokes so that is going to be hard. Once I get past her visit I will focus on eating better or should I say less

Keep at it Red, I put on quite a bit of weight when I gave up (never had the guts to weigh myself!) but it balances itself out when you get a handle on the cravings and start to go back to better eating habits......stick with it it's soooo worth it :)

I m patiently waiting for VAT return to come in should be about £750, however its all gone. My dad was 70 on Friday so I owe my brother for the meal and my sister for pressie, I also owe my sister for my brothers' xmas present!
Visit by s-i-l and nephew will also cost extra £50 than normal spends!
But will also do large shop - going to do my first monthly meal plan this month - and will put rest in current account for incidential extras (ie. savings)
I worked out I need to save for car insurance, oil, xmas and emergencies - which should total £1500 per year - that works out at £20 per week, which should be manageable.

I cannot tell you the excitement I feel about ordering oil and knowing I will have the money to pay for it, normally is a phone call from DH 'we are out of oil'. I reply 'oh sh**, right order it and make sure you are out when they arrive so you don't have to give them a cheque, I will send one next week when I gather the money etc, etc...'

DH is getting more savvy re MS....not perfect but definately thinking about it. Can I share that he is still in bed at 1.30pm!!! Lazy lump. I, on the other hand, have been up for two hours and having done nothing but play with lappers! The joy at being off work all week has led to a huge lazy fit....knowing I have a week to do chorese and prepare for very neat and tidy SIL to arrive!

    Lazy mare!!
