Absolutely, you didn't get into this mess overnight, and you won't get out of it overnight.

I feel like it is all crumbling around me and I can't stop it - there is no way I can find this money by tomorrow or even the next day! We are in dire straits now and I am so paniced I can't even think logically

Hon.
nothing you can do is going to stop whatever chain of events the universe decides to put in place. All you can do is embrace it, accept it, learn the lessons it is giving you and continue on the path.
A few months ago you wouldnt have given a toot about a cheque bouncing because your head would have been so far in the sand you couldnt allow it to affect you.
look at the positivity in what you have acheived so far. a massive chunk off the business debt, getting the suppliers back on side and potentially saving your business and your income in the process. you have learnt financial management. you have become organised and decluttered massively to the process. this is one wee pebble that has been placed along your road to debt freedom, a road that is full of lessons in the shape of pebbles, rocks, boulders and even bloody great mountains to go around. the smooth bits are unfortunately few and far between.
Dont berate yourself, or OH, to do so is entirely unproductive. look on this as a lesson in perseverance and endurance and problem solving. embrace it, deal with it and then move on. You are an amazing, kind, lovely adult human being. you CAN stop it crumbling by remaining strong, keep it in perspective and not panicking. tomorrow will come and cheques or not you cant stop that. deal with what happens when it happens and not before. In the grand scheme of life you are alive, you have your health and you have love. a wee bounced cheque isnt going to take that away from you. xdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

I need to replace the £800, plus another £750 due to come out for the bloody rhubarb. I should get £1900 this week in chqs and cash sales. And then another £1200 next week from those who pay on 1st of month.

RED sorry you are having such an incredibly sh*T day. But you have more energy, humour and drive than most people on these boards and you will come through this and you will be so glad that you are dealing with the debts and no longer doing HIS (head in sand)
