  • I wholly endorse making them feel guilty when they are failing to conform! I'm hoping that OH is going to stick at it - I send him a copy of the spreadsheet every SINGLE day so that he can see what is left :rotfl:

  • Me too - although Mr RMC was crying about certain DVDs and told me I was 'selling his memories' (Have I said that already......if so sorry, but you have to make allowances, I am a crazy person) I reminded him of the 49,000 memories.

If I sent him a copy of s/sheet, he wouldn't open it - cuz he 'doesn't understand spreadsheets' - we all can learn!

Any more nonsense and favours will be withdrawn!

Hi RMC yes I think a lot of us are married to the same man :rotfl: In the beginning I just wrote down everything we owed and then got in touch with most or sometimes the solicitors did that job for us. I now mark my calendar with each DD and when it will go out, check the bank account online at least twice a day. I think when you know what is coming out when really helps you to budget, then you feel in control IYKWIM rather than the bank and then they are adding their charges. The last two months Ive even had a little interest from them, that makes a huge change as to where I was 12 months ago. I also made huge changes to the grocery bill and not buying what I call treats now. Its just a question of buying only what you really need.
We'll all be in a much better place soon, and then we'll be to TIGHT to spend on ourselves:rotfl:
