I think you are right not to tell him about the £1k - you are doing something useful with it and so he couldn't criticise you about the use of it if he did find out about it.

I think you can relist free if they don't sell the first time.

Just checked ebay - its not free to relist, but did it anyway!

He asked me directly how much mum gave me so I have directly lied and that is not good but then again, I know if I told him, he would think we are 'good to go' and that is just too worrying.............I do plan to send balance of leftovers to Richard anyway so it will disappear sharpish.

Have told DH to send his ebay sales to bank he went overdrawn in by screwing up paypal - 2 bounced ddms have cost HIM £120 - so he will pay back and that will be another debt gone. I have suggested he contact bank and see what they say....will keep diary updated as to outcome of that.

Sent PPI letters a few weeks ago so hopefully I will hear something from one of the five, something rather than 'we are looking into your complaint' letters, this weekend.

Transfered £40 from Paypal, and had another sale on Amazon - about £30 to collect in total from there too.

This weekend I AM going to sort out my signature.....its good seeing it on spreadsheet but want to see my debt coming down everytime I sign in here - maddness probably.

Still not got the budgeting down to as fine an art as others and DH is buying things not needed - like £1.69 biscuits - Good God, are they made with gold flecks, anyone on store cupboard challenge could make that last a week!

LMAO - have you been in my house, I could find 200 things to list while cleaning. Could I manage 100 - I am not sure but I will try for 50 and that will be torture as soon onto clothes and I have had that moan before. Infact, you know what I will take on 100 as that would get rid of the dvds/cds/vhs once and for all. I did relist the non-sellers so that is 76 listed presently. (Note how I now typing 'inside thoughts' instead of actually thinking and then typing!)

So the challenge is good til 10pm on Sunday? God what have I got myself into....another week of a dirty house!:rotfl::rotfl:

Hey you can do it :j
I find I list 10 things then go clean a room then come back for another 10 they are both as bad as each other but think of the money I can already see the ££££££££ I need to make some overpayments.

THE CHALLENGE IS ON GO GO GO :rotfl:

Off to bed but I will be keeping a close eye on you

Just remember if you list items for 99p its free and people bid on low starters if you start them higher it costs. 5/100
I'm not sure the 76 re lists count but nice try......

sorry to hear your OH has been spending money without consulting you. I'm with you on not telling him the truth though about how much you were given, you're using it for purposes which will help you both, and once you break the chain of bank charges things will get 'much easier'
