I believe in being positive, though it is often very difficult, many of my family and friends are amused at just how positive i always seem and how i always find some positive point to everything no matter how bleak it can look.

However i do not believe that just by wanting something enough and saying so makes it happen otherwise i would be in a very different place right now LOL.

But a positive attitude does have a psychological affect upon you that is then picked up by others around you and so the circle continues to grow.

I truely believe in the old saying, it is not what you look at that matters but what you see.

On another site some of the member seem to think that positive thinking helps you to win competitions. When Nutrigrain had a comp to win £500 every hour I entered but knew I wouldn't win, I am too unlucky. Walkers had a comp to win an ipod every five minutes. I was determined that I would win one and I did. Maybe there is some truth in it.

Thing is it might not be the positive thinking but it's making me happier so maybe i'm more open to noticing good things happening (or something like that).

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Is this what my taxes paid for, your education?

Sorry, I have a cold so my postings are not up to my usual intellectual standard. I am sure normal service, based on my 1st class hons degree paid for by my own hard work, will soon be resumed:confused:
