Ah, but Kath, you're an Arts graduate now. That inevitably points to MacDonalds or shelf stacking! :rotfl:

    How was your graduation?

It's not inevitable. You could always go to Burger King! :rotfl: Actually Burger King's more for media studies students...

I've been working on being more positive recently-
I had 100.00 set aside for my daughter(20yr old) so she can eat while mum & dad & small brother are on holiday, but ended up giving it to dad to update his holiday wardrobe. So I raided savings a/c for dear daughter. Unluckly you might say, but my lovely mother had a cheque made out for me when I paid my weekly visit-for 100.00!
    I love my mum!

It's alright. I did four years at a major supermarket stacking shelves. It taught me a very imporatant lesson: Never work at a major supermarket stacking shelves!

Some of you folks mock with faux mantras, but you should read The Luck Factor, and then realise that those who have read it, like me, are probably laughing at you for being so out of the know on how to be lucky.

Read this with interest. I find I am very negative so will try to give this a go.

Can anyone recommend a book about the power of positive thought?

!!!!!!!!, back to the drawing board.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
