Money is coming easily to me!

  • There's a lot to be said for it. Even if you're not sure about it your mind is going to think something anyway so you might as well choose it to be good.

There's scientific evidence to show people who think this way tend to spot situations that will benefit them quicker than others.

I've just been reading about an experiment where a psychologist takes two groups of people. One made up of those who consider themselves lucky and one made up of people who consider themselves unlucky.

They both get a newspaper exactly the same for each group and are given a task to count how many ads are in the newspaper. Part way through is a big advert telling readers to stop reading any further and to point out this advert to the expermineter to win a prize.

The "unlucky" ones go straight past it and carry on counting ads. The lucky ones find the ad.

My advice go ahead - nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Sounds a bit Noel Edmonds with his Cosmic Supermarket to me

Don't paint light bulbs on your palms and keep taking the money while it lasts!

Going off topic- his positive thinking 'cosmic ordering' on Parky made me laugh- the guy is a millionaire & he tells us he wished for a house in France and got it

So all I have to do is make a few million quid, wish for a nice house..then go out and buy it! Easy!

I'm going to add something a bit spooky......

I read this yesterday morning and thought - I want my CC statements that I'm waiting for and so said it about 6 times in my head.

Decided to call the CC company to ask how far down the pile I was. He said - I have them here - I'll post them now.

They arrived this morning by Special Delivery and I'm going to reclaim the charges on them........

    spooky or what?!!

Saw this thread yesterday morning and in the afternoon DH comes home and has a cheque for his mileage pay. I had nagged him to claim it for the last 2 months as he was owed from April. £1998.17 enough to clear 1/2 the car loan, brilliant much more than we expected it to be. So money must come easily to me.

Thanks for a great read I am a big MSE fan plus addicted to DFW
