Sunnygirl – Millie sounds absolutely adorable. I love kittens
Rosepink – Great news that you have help getting your home in order
Mumto5 – Couldnt you claim for your block flooring off the house insurance?
Toochoosey – Less of the CBA lol
Brodie1 – Oven Pride is excellent and cheaper to buy in Home Bargains than the supermarkets

Hi All
Finally caught up (I think)
Welcome to all the newbies/returners/lurkers
Hollyh – Hope you are feeling better
Moam – Glad Dh is doing well - oops home now (have been typing this since this morning in between work)
PenPen – Am curious, what are galettes?? They sound fancy.
Natty – Hope your feeling better
Rose – Its 6 weeks before they put you on medical suspension, and that isn’t for another week or so, so not worth it in the long run or else I would have, planning going in on Saturday to see them. (And when we asked GP to fill in form for our mortgage after DH had a bad car accident last year they charged us £35. Gym is £30/month
Toots – Thanks I managed to chill when I had all that out and had a blubber!! Was just so uptight last night, and angry at the stupidest of things.:o
Kazd – Well done on OH’s DD’s new addition, congratulations to you all.:T
Greenbee – Are you broody???? Am I the only one who saw that?
Laboutingirl - Not sure what time your interview was, hope it went/goes ok.
Sexy – Hope you feel better soon, listen to your body, sod the headteacher, you need to get yourself better again.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

I've put the sheet and DH's pillowcases on, put cleaning cloths in the bathroom, tidied up a bit, emptied the bin beside my bed, it felt like I'd done more than that. Oh well. ]
Still feeling sick. I took DH to his parent's house this morning (FIL had borrowed DH's van, and I need the car today), and FIL gave me some hot chocolate that MIL had made. Turns out she put great chunks of cinnamon in it, and i hate cinnamon. I had a few mouthfuls before I gave up, but by then was feeling really nauseous and still am. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it.
Hope you are feeling better, not sure why he done it, and don't know how long he was there :rotfl: A few weeks ago, Dh got up in the middle of the night as DS ws crying, he was sleeping on the "wee landing" at the bottom of the stairs
LAst easter we were at a caravan and I was up in the middle of the night looking for inhaler and checked on kiddies and panicked as DS wasn't in bed, got DH up and we eventually found him UNDER the bed, with his wee "blanklet" (As he calls it) and his own wee giraffe pillow. Strange child :rotfl::TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

After going to the doctor this morning (ended up being seen this afternoon cos it was a wait to be seen job), the verdict was that I still had a temperature (day number 10) and that the cough had turned into a chest infection. I was really relieved to hear that, cos although it has got worse, it means it can be treated, and I now have those antibiotics that I think rosepink had? You have to stand up or sit upright for 30 minutes after taking them. I asked the doctor how long roughly it would take to get over the infection, and he said that I've been given a course of 7 days worth, but that I should start to feel better fairly quickly, and that after 5 days, I shouldn't be infectious to other people either. I also got him to write me a doctor's certificate to say that I'd been in on Thursday with flu-like symptoms and had been in again today and had a chest infection that requires antibiotic treatment. He was amazed that the head would get funny about the time off when it was a holiday, but I said that she makes it her job to make everyone's life difficult, as she wants her pound of flesh out of us all. He was really nice - not seen this particular doctor before, but have a feeling he may be the son of another doctor who worked at my old surgery, as he's quite young.
Year-group colleague texted me not long after I'd posted to say I hadn't heard from her, and she asked how I was. Told her and she said that she hopes the doctors fix me soon, as I've been sick for ages. She was going to the planetarium for a meeting for our risk assessment today, so hope it all went well - had completely forgotten that the trip is in a couple of weeks (2nd March).
Other colleague who'd been off with stress said she'll call me tomorrow anyway to catch up, and hopefully if she's free on Sunday, she can come over and see the wood burner etc, as that'll be day 5 of the antibiotics.
Monday is an inset day at school, so hopefully that'll give me a chance to catch up with the planning with my year partner as I've missed quite a few PPA times with her now due to being off sick.
It's a lovely sunny day here - perfect for drying washing, but Moon hasn't put the washing line up yet this year as the weather has previously been so grotty, and I've no idea where it's been buried in the garage either. Still, Ebony is thoroughly enjoying sunbathing in the living room, with the sun streaming through the window. Aaah!
Hugs to all, and fingers crossed I'll be able to fly soon.
