Am trying to type this post at arms length as most of you seem riddled with germs today!! UGH. I'm keeping a chest infection at bay at the moment myself, there is so much going around at the moment.

    Congrats to KAZ xxxx

Will crack on with bedroom in a moment, regardless of the fact that OH is still in bed nursing a headache!

Also planning to tackle the mountain of washing/drying/folding/ironing that has been tucked away in my laundry cupboard :( Although I think this might take a couple of days :(

Come on then girls, let's crack on...

:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:
    Mrs B you're a legend.
  • Hi everyone,

Been busy at work for the last two days, working long hours and DD2's got an ear infection too so she's been quite up and down since Thursday. Got some Anti B's for her now so she's picking up.

Also....we've got a new kitten. She's 9 weeks old and we've called her Millie. She's black with white feet and white under her chin, and if you look carefully she's got faint stripes in the black. She's absolutely gorgeous. Really playful. She was climbing up the curtains last night. The girls love her too although DD2 loves her a little too much at times and cuddles her a bit too hard. I'll sort out a picture of her to show you all.

Not much flying done today so far but I did run around like a mad woman for an hour last night after getting home from work at 7pm and trying to put the girls in bed as DH was out. Then I had 2 SIL's round, my BIL's fiance and my MIL so it's been a bit hectic.

We're off to SIL's house in a bit for the girls to try on some bridesmaid dresses for BIL's wedding in July. The dresses are gorgeous. I'll post a linky to them this afternoon too so you can all have a nosey.

Off to find my list and see what I can cross off from last night.

LAst night I went upstairs and done some ironing whilst watching holby, had a shower then at 10pm put my bedroom light off to go downstairs and walked into something on the floor outside my room.........awww I can't post pics, my DS was fast asleep lying down outside my bedroom door:eek:
oh how sweet! did he say why?

I've put the sheet and DH's pillowcases on, put cleaning cloths in the bathroom, tidied up a bit, emptied the bin beside my bed, it felt like I'd done more than that. Oh well. ]

Still feeling sick. I took DH to his parent's house this morning (FIL had borrowed DH's van, and I need the car today), and FIL gave me some hot chocolate that MIL had made. Turns out she put great chunks of cinnamon in it, and i hate cinnamon. I had a few mouthfuls before I gave up, but by then was feeling really nauseous and still am. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it.

    Sunnygirl, congrats on the kitten
Kazw - congrats on the baby
Rose - hope you feel better soon
    Valli - Greenbee might need a stepper....:p
Grateful - Nuneaton is near to me, I have driven through a few times and it doesn't look very exciting tbh. There is a huge BandM next to the Asda if that floats your boat. What sort of shopping do you enjoy? I always like the look of Ashby de la Zouch or Market Bosworth for small independent interesting shops.

Off to do half an hour on our bedroom.....

I've done everything in the bedroom except wash the curtains, which I don't plan to do. I have cleaned the window though. So no star for that today.

Two loads of washing draped round.

Living room polished and vacuumed, and vacuumed hallway and kitchen again. Computer desk all cleaned too.

    Hello all,

Just checking in while I have a bite of lunch.

    Congratulations Nana Kazwookie.:D:o

    Rosepink
I hope you're feeling bit better; it's horrible trying to press on regardless when you're feeling Uncle !!!!!!.

Mr LW informed me he'd had a sneezing fit at work, when he rang me mid-morning to check that I'm ok. I do hope he's not heading for another cold._pale_

I realised Monday when we had the kitchen to do, one of these days we're really going to have to bite the bullet and have the kitchen refitted; it's the original (cheap'n'cheerful) stuff that was put in when the bungalow was built (mid 1970s) and Mr LW's predecessor didn't take care of things at all, and some of the units really are falling apart now.

But I have an absolute horror of having workmen in the place; it was mega-dreadful when we had the bathroom done - that took a week, and I was pretty much ready for the lunatic asylum by the end of it. And that was done by people we know!! Those people don't do whole kitchens, so we'd be talking about total strangers in my home. AAARRRGGGHHH I can't bear the thought!:(

Right, I must go and get on; some of today's list is done, and some doesn't apply here, and I risk injury if I attempt to take the curtains down myself, so not doing that, so a reasonably easy flying day, but that will be offset by having to bake for Mr LW's lunchbox; also I'm planning to attempt HM pasta for tonight's dins, as opposed to Tesco's fusilli. Wish me luck.....
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Hi all

Im just jumping in quickly to see if any one wants to join in a HHC???

Its LO's bday today - so living room is mostly done as I did it last night before hanging up the banners balloons and streamers.

Ive been round upstairs, but need to do half hour downstairs to run round with the hoover again and clear away some of the rubbish lying around before I go collect him from soccer school.

    Any takers???

PS - love n hugs to everyone xx
