I am now the proud owner of a tumble dryer.:j:j:j
    It's on it's second load already.:rotfl:

Now need to get dinner on.... i'm starving.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Hi ladies,

Been to see DH - in fine form really, cracking jokes etc - op seems to have gone well (neck, disc & nerves type stuff) but changes may take several months as nerves regrow but looking very good so far. :j:jHopefully he'll be allowed out in the next couple of days.

Carried on with tidying/decluttering the downstairs - we have a huge amount of recycling paper to go! Its scary how much I found on just a couple of shelves.

    OK - pancakes are calling...

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.
  • Good news, MOAM

    Get well soon, holly

Pancakes decluttered, half-way through doing sitting room.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Can I have a star for today please TOOTS!

Just been to pick DH's presciption up, been to Mr As and to Argos. Went to Argos to change the kettle we had for Christmas as my bro had bought me silver and I wanted white - only just got round to changing it. While I was there though I bought a charger for the Wii remotes - £19.99 in the catalogue but half price if bought with a game so I bought a game that was £9.99 and the charger was reduced to £14.99 so only cost me £7.49 so I was quite pleased with that.

Going to make a start on tea now and put the shopping away.

MOAM - pleased to hear DH is on the mend.

I got the boys to help me, i put the chicken in the oven, washed up and tidied the kitchen. Ds2 tidied the living room and Ds1 hoovered and peeled some potatoes. Of course now tea's cooked i need to do the kitchen again. I gave the chicken a good sniff and decided to cook it, i've fed it to the boys and have plated a meal up for Oh when he comes over later. Hopefully i won't poison anyone:eek:. It smells so good as well but i don't think my stomach could take it.

hmmm will have to go and make some pancake mixture - DS made some for himself this morning for breakfast as he is working the late shift, only had to ring me once for further instructions beyond the recipe book! Aparently they were quite ok.

sugar, lemon or maple syrup are my favs but no good when on a diet - but the diet isn't really happening at the moment as it is not diet conducive weather. :A
