Hi all
Hope everyone is OK? Haven't caught up on the thread today, so wanted to send hugs, positive vibes and kicks in the rear to anyone who needs one. If I've missed you sending hugs and healing vibes for my mum, then thank you - they are much appreciated.
Right, have had sis and nephew visiting today. Always hard work, and not much flying gets done. Will have to catch up tomorrow....anyway, here's what's left to do:
Tuesday ~ Living/Family/Reception room
Level One
Level Two
Wipe sticky grubby marks from walls and paintwork
Wash any smelly soft furnishings (this may include pets and OH's)
Level Three
Decant all the miscellaneous papers and bits into a box
Polish any glass.. screens, pictures, ornaments mirrors etc
There's still a couple of bits left over from yesterday, so hopefully I will catch them up tomorrow. Planning a day at home....
Have just been on the running machine, getting rid of negative energy. Off to do some knitting....if I can sit still!
Have a good evening
Take care

Tuesday ~ Living/Family/Reception room Done!!:D:D:D
Level One
Level Two
Level Three
...and I've pressed and hung the last two curtains as well - only a year after starting to sew them!:o:D
I've also made 9lb of marmalade with the last of the sevilles, and am smugly admiring my neat rows of golden jars in the cupboard. I now have enough to last till about October or November, as long as I'm not too piggy with it - which is hard, as it's delicious!
That's two items off my half term list, so that's going well. Tomorrow I'm going to start the planning for next week, as we're off to France for the day on Thursday.

In the end I unplugged the phone, and am asking BT for a service so I can stop these - but would you unplug the phone at night for a few days? If anything serious people would ring my mobile anyway.
Glad DH is recovering well

More info here don't let them know they are getting to you, easy said I know but the link has some good advice. I would tend to quote the above to them and see how long it carries on afterwards!I LOVE my clean, shiny oven!! ........... only problem is I don't really want to cook anything in it now! Any tips on keeping it so nice?
I use teflon mats in the base and on all baking traysyou can get them in Morrisons for £2.

Miss A and W have been to the new adventure playground at Clumber Park with their adoptive grandparents today (sorry Soappie another Clumber fan) Dad and I went looking at cars but were not very successful. The local car supermarket only had stuff that was over 3 years old and they didn't have a lot of anything, usually they only stock stuff under 12 months.
We scoured the net of the local main dealers and didn't find much else. Of the couple that might have something we had time to visit one. When we got there we were not approached at all, we went in the showroom for a brochure and had to ask for what we wanted. Even then they still didn't want to talk to us, apparently they were really busy. From what I could see there was only one couple on there and at least 8 staff milling around. Hence we walked out most unimpressed, that and the fact that the screen prices were £1k+ more than the web showed  (wrote the reg's down before we went)
Anyway tomorrow we are going to the cinema at meadowhell for 95p eachmight even nip into the shops for shoe shoe fitting and replacement uniform trousers.

Evening All :hello:
What a night!! I HATE it when DH is backshift:mad: I get so stressed :rotfl:
Well childminder called me at work to ask if I could meet her at the train station to pick up DS which was fine, got to train station, waited 10 mins and loudspeaker announced train was cancelled  tried to call childminder whos phone kept going onto answer machine, and my phone was bleeping telling me battery was low so had to collect DS up at another train station or wait 45 mins for the next train so I drove to the train station, turned in thinking to myself my god this is a tight corner to turn, traffic coming towards me is waving ( I thought he was saying sorry for not giving me room to turn in) so I waved back tehn the driver and his passenger were waving and pointing, I then realised it was one way  with No signs saying this  so got DS, had to pik up DD at DH's aunt, DS was tired in car and trying to go to sleep so I was singing to him really LOUD and really BADLY to keep him wakened so you can imagine he was not amused. Went to pick up DD, DS was having mega tantrum by this time and I had to take him out, took him 10 mins to stop then he didn't want to leave :rotfl:Got home at 6, bursting for the loo, starving, tired. Made pancakes with DS, DD had already made them at aunts so didn't want to do them again then DS left me to cook them so made them, got quick dinner of pasta, just got him into bed at 8 with no bath, only top n tail and been scooting about since, so glad its living room today as its the one place I insist no toys etc and kept relatively tidy. Soooo.......

Builders have now built around where the window is going and the wood roof things are coming tomorrow (as you can see i so know what i'm on about:rotfl:).
WM on, TD on and DW just finished so i'll reload. Kitchen looks like a mess again so i need to get it sorted before i go to bedSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Evening everyone, just thought I would drop in and let you know that I am resting, well sort of. I have been behaving although I did go and visit a friend today. I ended up looking after the kidlets for her while she sorted out her packing for her holiday. I came back absolutely shattered though.
I have done some hoovering, mainly because the living room needed itTomorrow I am off to a friends for the morning, then I shall come back and do a wee bit of ironing and resting.
I am feeling tons better, although the cough is still giving me gyp!! Hopefully that is easing as each day goes on.
