Moam - crank calls are not nice. Can you get caller id or an answerphone so you can screen the calls before answering?
Kazw - We just had sugar and lemon with ours
good luck for your interview tomorrow louboutin
welcome disdisbiff
Have only skim read I'm afraid. DS came over for pancakes this afternoon rather than this evening as he's out at the cinema tonight so that took up most of it as we decided one batch of batter wasn't enough so I had to make another
And thanks for the hat trick vibes ladies - two out of three positives from my cheeky emails last night so faram awaiting on the third.
First success was a "cold call" to a group of Nuns who used to live in the area asking a question about some bombing of their convent during WW2. The lovely Reverend Mother has emailed me back with lots of interesting detail. I can include that in my talk to the not-so-young-anymore wives. I feel very blessed!
The second success was extraordinarily cheeky as it went to the local Freemason Lodge. They own an old building in the area which is listed. I asked if I could possibly visit to take some photos. The curator emailed v. promptly at 7.57 this morning and the upshot is I am to be given a personal tour of the building next Tuesday morning!I might also be able to get a bit more info on my blokes.
Won't tell you what the third is yet - I don't want to jinx things - but it will be v. exciting!

Just being nosey but what do you use to treat your leather? Have only had our sofas under a year but could probably do with some tlc and don't want to get something rubbish iyswim.
We used "Wizz leather clean & feed" which comes in a 750ml bottle. you just spray it on (I nearly had a heart attack because it made our leather look very wet because they are brown!!!) It drys in about 15 mins and my pounding heart subsided once I realised the sofas looked REALLY good once dry
I have to say I was most impressed!
My leather sofas seem to dry out, looking as if they might crack although I dont think they would!
Believe it or not this bottle cost me £1 from Poundland!! :j

I've tried leather wipes (bit like babywipes!) and wasn't impressed with them at all.
I guess it depends on your sofas.. mine are italian leather (apparently) and it was fine on them. As with all things I would STRONGLY recommend trying any product in a discreet area first and leaving it for maybe a day to ensure no discolouration of your leather.
disclaimer: other leather cleaning products are available:rotfl::rotfl:
Hope this helps!!

Oven and hob cleaning week... and it is level one so none of you can get out of it..[/STRIKE] I LOVE my clean, shiny oven!! It took about 2 hours to scrub the shelves from black to silver, but they look so gorgeous, its very sad, but I have to keep looking at it! Just stuck a pizza in for an easy meal tonight, and it looks so different, all light and bright! (Pizza said 'directly on oven shelf', but no way!! It's on a piece of foil!), only problem is I don't really want to cook anything in it now! Any tips on keeping it so nice? Just cleaning more regularly (don't think I've ever done it before, or maybe once, in 4 years

The threat of the Psychologist visiting on Thursday is working a treat. I'll have to ask her to come once a week lol Two huge boxes of magazines / newspapers taken to the recycling. Going to sort out a couple of boxes of stuff for the charity shop now and put them in the car before I get distracted.Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0 -
