busy day for me - Cornhill untill 3.30 and then home to do some phone calls and then Pancake Party at the church which was good fun with pancake tossing and other competitions for the kids.
Sounds like a lot of fun at church, a great reason for no flying in my book Have been to Ikea tonight ..... But I didnt get any candles or a plant:rotfl: Have been to Ikea tonight ..... But I didnt get any candles or a plant:rotfl:
Wow bows down in homage :T I can't think of anyone who has been there and NOT come out with candles or a plant. Hope the missing stuff is in the boot, if not might be worth calling the store with your receipt to hand as they may be able to credit your account (assuming you used a card).
Been watching One Born Every Minute and thinking I could never be a midwife, not because I am squeamish but because I would want to tell some of them to get a grip and stop shouting/screaming :rotfl::eek: :rotfl::eek:

Busy busy day. Bathroom I doubt has EVER been cleaner. Oh but the shower screen isn't frosted at all my non scratch scourer had proved that. I've even removed all the seals off the screen for cleaning. My bedroom is nearly finished. Garage is sorted. 5 bags of clothes decluttered to nephew. Shed rearranged so DPs car stuff can go in there in the morning my non scratch scourer had proved that. I've even removed all the seals off the screen for cleaning. My bedroom is nearly finished. Grafted our bums off today, will be another early start in the morning so I can meet an old friend (from where we lived that we had the hassle) for afternoon with our boys. DS2 and her oldest were best buddies at school, from nursery. meaning I get under the stairs back!!! As well as the liners mentioned by AnW's mum and toots, wipe it down with vinegar after every use, so the inside won't get greasy and horrid.
Oven and hob cleaning week... and it is level one so none of you can get out of it.. [/STRIKE] I LOVE my clean, shiny oven!! It took about 2 hours to scrub the shelves from black to silver, but they look so gorgeous, its very sad, but I have to keep looking at it! Just stuck a pizza in for an easy meal tonight, and it looks so different, all light and bright! (Pizza said 'directly on oven shelf', but no way!! It's on a piece of foil!), only problem is I don't really want to cook anything in it now! Any tips on keeping it so nice? Just cleaning more regularly (don't think I've ever done it before, or maybe once, in 4 years [/STRIKE] I LOVE my clean, shiny oven!! I wouldn't mine if it wasThere is a definite baby boom in here at the moment. I hope it's not catching :rotfl:
I know... but HOW? I have to be up at 6 to go to the gym, and because friends left so late will be coming home to work here in the morning, then going into the office at lunchtime, then from the office out to meet ex-colleagues. So only Thursday to do any work...toottifrootti wrote: »D
Greenbee - your challenge is to have your presentation done by 9pm thursday evening - no last minute rushing allowed
Had a lovely evening - 6 of us for pancakes. Kitchen was lovely and clean, then a tip and is now not too bad, as I've emptied the DW and refilled it. Still probably half a load to go... I can fit 6 comfortably round the kitchen table without the extensions which is good to know. So hopefully it'll just fit 10 with both extra leaves.
hot water bottles are made, so i guess I should clean my teeth and try to get to sleep before it's time to get up!0
