Visitors now gone so I have dishes to wash as they stayed for dinner and I need to go and fetch DH's prescription at some point. I've also stripped our bed so I should be ahead come bedroom day.

I have been a busy bee doing above and have also
    WM x2
    put dw contents away
found a home for new plastic boxes I bought to transport party food in
threw contents of 2 vases and washed and put them away
    did a jigsaw with DS
played dominoes, Ludo and snakes and ladders
emptied all bins downstairs and put wheelie out ready for morning (it's chocka).

Oh and re the garage situation, I offered Pigpen a washing machine for her DS1 as the previous owner of this house left his and it works fine. He also left a freezer and we brought a fridge with us (he left his integrated one which didnt work:mad: ) so while my garage is half full of 4 appliances, it's all stacked neatly , all stuff is sorted into boxes for that purpose (outside toys, decorating, gardening stuff) it is bugging me slightly as you can bet that the minute I put my washer on freecycle, the own I have inherited with the house will pack up! We have been in this house since 11th Dec and have no boxes left to unpack and Dh has done 3 tip runs so I feel quite ahead of myself ta very much:rotfl:So no more singling me out Pigpen, Unless it's for praise of course;)

Oh and i'm glad I did on top of the units as I found a carbon monoxide detector and that was on our list of things to buy for new house:money::) It works fine, just needed a new battery of which we have plenty.

Now off to get my polishing cloths out and claim my 2 stars (and sort a bit of kids rooms too)

So far so good, haven't attacked the kitchen yet, well i've put the clean dishes away. done four loads of washing so far, dried 1 :o. Not going out day as all the coats are in the wash, courtesy of diving in lots of muddy puddles on Sunday. Well not far anyway.

Think i'll just go to the market on Wednesday and have a long walk along the river tees on the way.

    Updates so far.
