I'm not keen either... ok with lemon and sugar, but savoury ones???

When you consider that they are the same as Yorkshire puddings but fried instead of baked, I dont see what the problem with savoury ones is ? <shrug>

Wont be having any myself as DH is away tonight and not home till tomorrow. I have some leftover chilli in the fridge, so will have that instead.

Anyway, Im supposed to be on a diet!!:(

It probably hardly shows butI have just spent the last hour and ahalf scrubbing bits of the kitchen that aint been scrubbed for a LONG while. The mop isn't touching the grime so have been on hands and knees literally scrubbing between the tiles. Have found Adam's latest dead biscuit stash and removed it and decided that the bread bin is no longer fit for purpose and am going to treat me to a new shiny one later on. Time for a cuppa and cake with a friend before getting back on the horse!

Just popping in to say hi. I'm still feeling rough and am really just taking it very easy at the moment - doing my dailies (just) but nothing else. Finishing my cup of tea and going to stagger around the field with DD and the dog for 30 mins.

Our exciting news is we're getting chickens :j:j! We're getting an Eglu Cube for £200 less than RRP but looks in good nick so will have to do a lot of research when I feel better.

Hope you're all keeping well; I haven't looked at anything on here I'm afraid. Love and hugs to all xx

  • i'm back in for this week, been away so got absolutely nowt done last week!
  • A-ha, so many things have made me titter on here today

Pigpen - Protein in weevls - made me  I remember finding a bag lurking at the back of the cupboard a few years ago, I had no idea that's what they were at the time.......

Also - Pigpen, I agree about the pancake thing, eww soggy and revolting. I can just about do crepes but they have to be smothered in nutella!!

Prettypennies - OMG - £99.00 for dry cleaning, I can't believe it. I haven't had ours done ever - we have been there for 9 years so it will be 8 years since they went up, I need to get them cleaned but can't afford that much or half that much really.

Louboutingirl - good luck for the interview tomorrow!

Haven't done anything from either lists yet this week, met my mentee last night and am taking them out on Friday after work so that's 2 days out this week then have my interim exam at college tonight and am going out for dinner with a friend afterwards so that's another night out......

Looks like I am going to be busy this weekend........

Hugs to all in need - especially LadyL and MOAM
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

One good reason for being tidy - you don't find the copy of a book you thought you must have given away after you buy a replacement copy
