    Tuesday ~ Living/Family/Reception room:j:jDONE:T:T
    Level One
    Level Two
    Extras
    1. Sort through the box of miscellaneous belongings
Gas service done this morning, kids driving me potty.... think they may be sent to play in their rooms at some point soon.
Need to try and sort some more stuff in my bedroom as it is worse than ever in there due to the fact I had to move half a million boxes and bag from the front of the cupboard so the guy could get in to service the boiler.

First I need to hunt down some cheap meal ideas, I'm sick of the same things all the time plus we have very little in and a very small shopping budget:eek:

And a little advice please - had a whole series of crank calls very late last night, quite scary as person knew my and DH's names. In the end I unplugged the phone, and am asking BT for a service so I can stop these - but would you unplug the phone at night for a few days? If anything serious people would ring my mobile anyway.

Right - DS arrived so breakfast first,

    Moam

I would, as you say if it's something important they can get you on your mobile.

What are you all having with your pancakes?

Thanks for reminding me, yummy pancakes with sugar and lemon.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hope DH is doing OK.

Advice on nuisance calls here I had these at one point several years ago (on my mobile when they were still analogue!), and the provider put a trace on the line and got the police involved. I hated answering the phone for a while, but it sorted itself out.

BT should attempt to trace the calls - and possibly get them recorded. I can't remember whether it is up to you or them to involve the police though...

Hope it is sorted out soon.

And a general reminder to EVERYONE - don't answer the phone with your number, address or name - just say hello and let the caller introduce themselves.

What are you all having with your pancakes?

In scotland, our pancakes are "drop scones" and are not eaten as a savoury, kids usually have butter on them or just plain. I have never tried pancakes with a savoury filling.

LAst night I went upstairs and done some ironing whilst watching holby, had a shower then at 10pm put my bedroom light off to go downstairs and walked into something on the floor outside my room.........awww I can't post pics, my DS was fast asleep lying down outside my bedroom door:eek:

Just trying to work it out. I need to do savoury as well as sweet.

Definitely orange/lemon segments with sugar for pudding. And possibly a chocolate sauce and slices of banana.

I'm thinking about a cream and asparagus option for savoury, plus maybe a leek, broccoli & cheese one.

Suppose I should go an make the batter - I need to make about 24 pancakes BEFORE everyone arrives, so I can have the savoury stuff in the oven.

I don't see much work being done today...:o
  • Just taken the living room and children's room curtains down and the are filthy.

Does anyone have any idea what sort of cost I would be looking at for dry cleaning.

I think they are about 90" drop by 90" wide

    Happy pancake day everyone.

Yesterday I mainly rested to catch up my energy from the weekend which went well (it was dd2's birthday and sleepover).

Think I've finally got rid of most of that horrible cold/sinus/snot fest that was occurring....horrible.

OH is going to put a new tyre on his bike and I have made an appointment with my specialist to discuss my blood results.

I think I'll tackle our bedroom today as it is in an appalling state mainly because most things were dumped into it over the weekend to make room.
