Only a couple of bits left to do so I should get another star later. I've also started a bread pudding so I'll go and finish that off before my visitors arrive.

Ironing basket is ready for DH tonight and the wash basket is just about empty. That just leaves lots of clothes to put away today and tomorrow.
I've cleaned the DW filter (it was quicker to find the instructions online) and it's doing a trial run on the programme I normally use. Also put leaflets in papers for DS1's afternoon round. Breakfast decluttered, so I should be full of energy ('should' being the operative word) - can't understand why I feel so tired. Time for a quick cuppa, then bath/dressed and going out. DS2 will need to tidy some toys in the LR while I'm in the bath, so I can hoover when we get back.

2 charity bags filled! (2 different charities - NSPCC and Help the Aged both to be collected tomorrow.) Hope it's not raining, cos both the bags have got holes in that'll let the rain through if I put them out on the street.

Off to find some breakfast now.

    Star please toots.:j:j:j:j

All towels in WM now so i'll get them all done and hopefully if we get a TD today i'll just have to keep loading it up.
Builders now finished banging, so we've a big massive hole, hopefully the window will be in soon.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Hi flygang,

Have surfaced and just waiting on DS to get dressed and then we'll get on - we have a small list of bits to do, including a visit to DH :j(once I've checked he's back in a normal room and has lost all the drips etc - don't want to freak out DS).

Most pressing job is to find all the bits that go with the printer I'm rehoming elsewhere via Freegle (lady coming early evening) - the installation disk is on my desk....somewhere!! HH Desk tidy coming along....:rotfl:

And a little advice please - had a whole series of crank calls very late last night, quite scary as person knew my and DH's names. In the end I unplugged the phone, and am asking BT for a service so I can stop these - but would you unplug the phone at night for a few days? If anything serious people would ring my mobile anyway.

Right - DS arrived so breakfast first,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    :hello:Morning!

Sorry been away for a while, spent time with dd looking for her wedding dress and I think we have found THE ONE!:j She looked beautiful and yes I cried! :o:D now we have to get a good price so we are sending in her future mil who is wonderful at doing deals! She runs a dress agency!

It is only a couple of months since ds was married! Not sure what normality is anymore!:rotfl:

Anyway time to get house organised and clean again before dd and her df come to visit and look at the venues. I spent the weekend sorting out the larder and am still working on the freezers, amazing what I found in them and am jam/jelly making in winter as a result!
