i dont think it should he should keep it to himself because im sure as hell if the woman got a bonus she wouldnt be spending it on the kids

and im sure she gets more than enough with the 25% shes already getting

That is not true of most PWC James, my children come first and always will.

Expenses for daughter for January (won't include son as he gets nowt anyway).

    £220 childcare
£160 school trip to fashion show in Birmingham
£100 new school jumper, school hoody and P.E kit and shoes
    £40 school lunches
    £30 pocket money
    £20 mobile phone top ups
    £10 ladies monthly necessities

£570 (admittedly this was a particularly expensive month cos of Birmingham & have now pulled her from childcare)

No house, gas, electric, water, landline, internet or food included in that so lets add on another £150 for that although it is far more, brings the total up to £720 for that particular month. I don't even get a fifth of that back, so your comment is very unrealistic. Try being a PWC we don't get the luxuries!

Not all businesses guarantee bonuses and they are handed out on a performance basis so it isn't possible to included them into your agreement with the CSA.

My DH works for the motor industry thereore his bonus is on performance its been SH** since the recession and basically we had to submit 3 months pay slips and they averaged out the pay for the CSA

when the recession hit and his pay went to crap we asked for a re-evaluation but in all honesty this took SOOOO Long therefore we had to just pay at the higher rate.. sucks yes. but we are done our payments so they do take ALL monies into account

Hi Jen, thanks for that, will be eligible as of next Monday when I am no longer considered employed, up till then have been eligible for all costs, am a single parent with a disabled child but got no assistance due to half pay from employer while unable to work.

Why are you sure as hell? how can you say that?? Are you a PWC? do you know much it costs to provide for a child?

It really annoys me when people make comments like this and don't back it up.
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.

    Hi everyone,

I have an agreement in place with the OH that they get 25% of take home wage, which is correct as there is 3 kids.

My question is.... Should a one off bonus be taking into consideration? IE, Should she get 25% of this one off bonus or is this seperate?

Does any one have a link about this? I cant seem to find this info anywhere and the child maintenance website doesnt make it clear.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi, to answer your question and avoid the bickering......

Do you have a schedule in place telling you what your payments are everymonth?

I had the same problem, I used to get good bonuses. The CSA first told me that my ex will get 20% of my wages, overtime, bonuses... YES Bonuses I WORKED HARD FOR. & YES THE KIDS WILL STILL BENEFIT FROM via ME!

Anyway the way I worked around not paying her my bonus was, talked to my payroll and got them to confirm to the CSA that the scheduled amounts were exactly what they wanted them months? And they said yes, we never mentioned "bonus" so we paid what was on the schedule... Simple. There is nothing to say to declare bonuses, only tell them when your income significantly changes, and well my regular income never changed.

OH one more thing, WHY should the EX be able to enjoy a bonus of yours and live the lifestyle like you were still together?? Your kids will still get treats from you anyway

Because she's your childrens mother...because you both loved each other at some point, because despite having to pay 25% of your bonus you have the other 75% to spend on them (bonus=extra)...just because?... your children come first and everything else is really secondary?
