Bonus from work, should this be counted for child maintenance?

Hi everyone,
I have an agreement in place with the OH that they get 25% of take home wage, which is correct as there is 3 kids.
My question is.... Should a one off bonus be taking into consideration? IE, Should she get 25% of this one off bonus or is this seperate?
Does any one have a link about this? I cant seem to find this info anywhere and the child maintenance website doesnt make it clear.
Thanks in advance!

Your agreement isthey get 25% of take home wage
Assuming you are "taking home" the bonus then it falls under this category.
Do you not want to say
"Hey, I got a bonus. I was not planning to get it, but its a bonus, heres 25% of it", and pass it to your kids?
Do you not want to?

yessem my husband gets commision and his commission and any bonus's were taken into account. we are done paying this year.
one way his boss was nice about it for our xmas bonus of 500.00 he gave us love2shop vouchers instead0 -
I am guessing you don't want your ex to get her hands on the money for whatever reason. Why don't you put 25% of the bonus into your childrens' savings accounts?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

So you got them without having to pay tax and ni on it, and without giving any to the kids despite your agreement? Lucky kids!
Sorry - don't see the point in being proud as to how you've gotten out of providing for the kids what is rightfully for them.0 -

And he didn't want to share that with his children?
What an outstanding father! You must be quite proud of the underhand way he denied his own children a few bob.

i agree with the op
this is a 25% bonus why should his exget this when it prob does not go on the kids???prob a night out with a new fella???
the csa goes after the wrong people rather than go for the ones who pay they need to get the ones that dont pay a dime.
im surethe op gives morethan enough to his kids in way of presents ect and the 1 with the vouchers i bet they br the kids something nice for xmass ratherthan the money go again tothe ex0 -
Under CSA or CMEC rules, any regular or annual bonus or commission is treated as part of your income and therefore would be used in the calculation.
I note most people feel it is your duty to hand over 25% for the children. When my partner gets a christmas bonus he spends it on himself because he works so hard. I certainly don't expect him to spend it on me or the children and I certainly dont think it's underhand!!!. Different people, different views.0 -
Leave the guy alone, at least he's paying his due....if he's worked so hard he gets a bonus then he should be able to enjoy it!
Why not buy a gift for your kids instead of just handing over 25%?0 -
Could open a savings account for them in their name/s that can't be touched til they're 18. They're getting some money to start in life, you're using part of your bonus knowing it's going on your kids, and your ex can't touch it and appropriate it for herself (i.e. spending spree etc)
Unless you ex needs to get the kiddies new clothes, then you could use that to take them clothes shopping and maybe get them a treat?** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

why are you making the assumption that the money doesn't go on the kids?
I agree with the idea of the money going into a trust fund or something similar.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0
