I was told that fame went to his head and he became something of a diva. When he demanded the use of a Helicopter to cope with all his personal appearances, he was told that if he didn't behave he'd be replaced with a cartoon.
Anybody?
That's what we were told. or something along those lines.
They dispensed with his services due to his outrageous demands!!!(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )
Those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter!0 -
Have to agree, I cringe too when it comes on. I can't stick the 'go compare/we buy any car' adverts either but at least the idea behind it makes sense because it does stay in your mind. I just find the Halifax ones patronising and ridiculous. It doesn't make me feel I need to bank with them.0

I agree, except I find the we buy any car ad rather catchy and funny!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

I've heard people saying how Sky+ isnt worth the money.
Threads like this prove otherwise - I cant remember the last time I watched an advert.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Their bad ads match their bad customer service, awful company!!No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -

I can do that with my Freeview PVR, and don't waste money on a Sky subscription.0 -
I wonder how much it cost to commission, make and buy ad time.
Then I wonder how much they could give back to each customer by not having undertaken the ad.
ANd how much we would not then be complaining about it and so not think quite so badly of them.0
