Halifax advert

I've seen some tripe adverts in my time but the current one where they are in a radio station has to be one of the WORST adverts I have ever seen!!!

So I'm not the only one whose toes curl when that ad comes on?

It's cringe-worthy!! I can't stand it! At least the singing guy with the glasses was charismatic and quite funny, but those in this latest advert are terrible!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

absolutely, the singing one was differant and in a way pretty cool, this one is dreadful, cringe worthy, ill thought and basically corny.

Whoever came up with that idea and whoever commissioned it should be ashamed

I hate them - not least because I'm a customer of theirs who is being hammered by their "new and improved" terms and conditions on their normal poor-pleb bank accounts.
When I get the time and energy to switch account I'm going to delight in going in and telling them WHY I'm going - and list that freaking advert (and Howard) as reasons number 1 and 2.

I can't stand the cheesyness of the advert, it makes me want to vomit.

Only way it could get worse, would be Michael Winner doing the advert instead

The advert is so much like being in a branch too, 2 staff doing some work, 6 sat drinking coffee and another 6 sat looking on, supervising.
